Key Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate labourers and site workers on a daily basis. - Allocate tasks and ensure workers understand their duties and responsibilities. - Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and work performance. - Ensure work is completed according to project schedules and quality standards. - Follow and enforce health, safety, and company procedures at the workplace. - Inspect work areas and ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). - Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, contractors, and other supervisors. - Report work progress, manpower requirements, delays, and site issues to management. - Train and guide workers on proper working methods and safety practices. - Maintain discipline and resolve minor workforce-related issues. - Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available for daily activities. - Keep basic records of manpower, attendance, work progress, and materials used. - Identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action. - Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager or Project Manager. Requirements - Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in construction, maintenance, facilities, or general labour operations. - Good leadership and communication skills. - Ability to manage and motivate a team of workers. - Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. - Physically fit and capable of working in a site environment. - Basic knowledge of English is preferred; additional languages are an advantage.
