This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager looking for a long-term role with a reputable and growing construction business. The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of drylining and internal fit-out projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, to a high standard, on programme and in line with client requirements. You will work closely with our Contracts Managers, project teams, main contractors, subcontractors and site operatives to ensure the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to completion. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day site operations for drylining and internal fit-out works. Coordinate site activities, labour, materials and subcontractors. Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with programme, drawings, specifications and quality standards. Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and environmental compliance. Liaise with main contractors, clients, consultants and other trades on site. Monitor progress, identify potential issues and implement solutions to keep projects on track. Ensure materials are ordered, delivered and used efficiently. Manage site inductions, toolbox talks, daily briefings and relevant site documentation. Inspect completed works and ensure defects are identified and resolved promptly. Support project handovers, snagging and completion activities. Promote a positive, professional and collaborative site culture. About You We are looking for a Site Manager with proven experience working for a drylining, partitioning or internal fit-out contractor. You will have a strong understanding of construction site management and the ability to manage multiple activities in a busy project environment. You should have: Previous experience as a Site Manager within drylining, fit-out or a related construction discipline. Good knowledge of drylining systems, metal framing, plasterboard, partitions, ceilings and associated finishes. Experience working on residential, commercial, healthcare, education or other construction projects. Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills. The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and programmes. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining site progress. A good understanding of health and safety requirements. SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification. CSCS Site Manager card or appropriate equivalent. First Aid and other relevant site qualifications. A full UK driving licence, where required.
