# Site Engineer – Steel Structure / PEB **gst international** · Riyadh · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 7 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About the Role We are hiring a Site Engineer to supervise steel structure and pre-engineered building (PEB) erection on our active Saudi Arabia projects. You will be responsible for on-site execution, coordinating erection sequencing, verifying alignment and connections, and ensuring work is carried out to approved drawings and quality standards. Key Responsibilities - Supervise steel structure erection on site, columns, beams, trusses, purlins, girts, and connections - Verify anchor bolt setting-out and alignment before column erection - Coordinate bolt torque/tension checks on high-strength bolted connections - Confirm base plate grouting is carried out correctly after plumb is verified - Read and interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, and erection (GA) drawings - Coordinate with fabrication teams, crane/rigging crews, and subcontractors to keep erection on schedule - Check QA/QC documentation on site (WIR, MIR, ITP, NCR) and ensure inspection hold points are respected - Identify and resolve site discrepancies against approved drawings, raising RFIs where needed - Maintain daily/weekly progress reporting to the Project Manager - Ensure site safety compliance during steel erection, PPE, lifting operations, working at height What We Are Looking For - Genuine, hands-on steel structure or PEB erection experience, not general civil, RC, or finishing site work - Currently based in Saudi Arabia. - Ability to read and work from structural/shop drawings independently - Real working knowledge of anchor bolts vs. connection bolts, base plate grouting, bolt torque checks, and basic welding/NDT awareness - Prior experience with a PEB contractor or steel fabrication company is a strong advantage What This Role Is NOT - This is not a general civil/RC site engineer role, if your experience is primarily concrete, finishing, or MEP, this is not the right fit - This is not a workshop/fabrication role, this position is site-based erection supervision How to Apply Send your CV to jobs@gstsaudi.com with the subject line "Site Engineer – Steel Structure – [Your Name]."
