You will run the site day to day: setting out, supervising civil and structural works, controlling subcontractors and labour, and coordinating with consultants and authorities through to handover. Key responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities: excavation, shoring, foundations, blinding, steel fixing, shuttering, concrete pouring, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, screeding and external works. Set out levels, lines and grids and verify all works against approved structural, architectural and shop drawings. Check formwork, reinforcement and embedded items before pouring; arrange and attend concrete pours, slump and cube testing, and third-party lab inspections. Prepare and follow the construction programme, plan manpower, plant and equipment, and report daily/weekly progress and delays to the Project Manager. Coordinate structural works with MEP first-fix (sleeves, conduits, drainage, earthing) to avoid clashes and rework. Manage subcontractors and site labour: issue site instructions, monitor productivity, check workmanship and verify their quantities before payment. Raise material requests, check deliveries against approved submittals, monitor consumption and control wastage on site. Raise inspection requests and attend inspections with the consultant, Dubai Municipality and Civil Defence; follow up on site comments and NCRs until closed. Enforce HSE on site: PPE, scaffolding and excavation safety, permits to work, toolbox talks and housekeeping. Take site measurements, assist in quantity take-off, variation records and monthly progress claims. Maintain full site records: daily reports, site diary, photographs, RFIs, as-built markups and QA/QC documentation. Carry out snagging, de-snagging and support project closeout, testing and commissioning, and DLP items. Requirements Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum 2 years' site experience in the UAE with a construction or design-and-build contractor. Valid UAE driving licence is a must (site visits across multiple locations). Solid knowledge of civil and structural works, concrete practice, and UAE construction standards. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence, DEWA and consultant inspection and approval procedures. Immediate joiners preferred. What we offer Competitive salary based on experience.
