# Site Engineer **Nolte Kitchen - Qatar** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Site Engineer Location: Qatar Employment Type: Full-Time Project Type: High-End Private Villa / Residential Construction/ Fit-Out Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our project team for the construction and finishing of a private villa in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities, ensuring that all civil, architectural, finishing, and related MEP works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in finishing works , preferably on high-end residential, villa, hospitality, F&B, Retail, or luxury projects , and must be comfortable coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage day-to-day construction activities on site. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements. Closely monitor and supervise architectural and finishing works , including: Flooring and tiling Marble and natural stone Gypsum and ceiling works Painting and decorative finishes Joinery and cabinetry Doors and ironmongery Waterproofing Façade and external finishes Sanitary installations and final fixtures Coordinate civil and architectural works with MEP services , including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drainage, fire systems, lighting, and other building services. Identify clashes or coordination issues between architectural, structural, and MEP drawings before execution. Coordinate with consultants, architects, interior designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Inspect completed works and ensure the required quality and finishing standards are achieved before requesting consultant/client inspections. Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, manpower, and progress. Ensure subcontractors follow the approved construction sequence and project schedule. Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical drawings, and site details relevant to the work being executed. Verify site dimensions and coordinate actual site conditions with drawings before fabrication or installation. Raise RFIs where drawings, specifications, or site conditions require clarification. Monitor material requirements and coordinate with procurement to ensure materials are available when required. Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with approved samples and specifications. Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain accurate site records. Monitor project progress and immediately highlight potential delays, technical issues, or quality concerns to the Project Manager. Coordinate inspections with consultants and follow up on comments, NCRs, snagging items, and corrective works. Carry out detailed snagging during the finishing stages and follow up until all items are properly rectified. Assist with testing, commissioning, final inspections, authority requirements, and project handover. Ensure proper protection of completed finishes and installed materials during ongoing construction activities. Maintain high standards of site organization, cleanliness, safety, and professional conduct. Ensure works comply with applicable Qatar construction regulations, project HSE requirements, and relevant authority requirements . Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 5 years of relevant construction site experience . Previous experience working for a construction or main contracting company is required . Strong experience in architectural finishes and fit-out works is essential. Experience working on high-end private villas, luxury residential projects, hotels, premium commercial projects, or similar high-quality developments is strongly preferred . Good general technical knowledge of MEP systems and the ability to coordinate MEP works with architectural and civil works. Good understanding of construction drawings, architectural details, structural drawings, MEP drawings, specifications, and shop drawings. Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple trades simultaneously. Good understanding of construction sequencing and finishing-work interfaces. Previous experience working in Qatar or the GCC is preferred . Knowledge of Qatar construction practices and local authority requirements is an advantage. Required Skills Strong attention to detail and ability to identify workmanship and finishing defects. High standard of quality control, particularly for luxury residential finishes. Strong site supervision and subcontractor management skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and finishing details. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to identify potential technical or coordination problems before execution. Good planning, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with the Project Manager and consultants. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required. Familiarity with construction scheduling and project management software is an advantage. Good written and spoken English is required; Arabic is an advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile The preferred candidate is a practical, hands-on engineer who spends significant time on site and takes ownership of the quality and progress of the project. The candidate should be particularly strong during the finishing stages of construction and capable of closely inspecting details and coordinating different trades to achieve the required high-end finish. Experience dealing directly with consultants, architects, interior designers, specialist subcontractors, and premium material suppliers will be considered an advantage. Additional Requirements Currently based in Qatar or available to relocate to Qatar. Valid Qatar driving license is preferred. Ability to join immediately Willingness to work according to project and site requirements. Strong professional ethics, accountability, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding the private residence and project.
