# Site Engineer **MALD TECH ENGINEERING LLC** · Jebel Ali · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Steel Site Engineer – Job Description Position: Steel Site Engineer Industry: Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection Job Responsibilities - Supervise and coordinate structural steel erection and installation works at site. - Review approved shop drawings, IFC drawings, method statements, and project specifications before execution. - Ensure columns, beams, bracings, plates, staircases, handrails, and other steel components are installed according to approved drawings. - Coordinate daily activities with site supervisors, foremen, fabricators, welders, riggers, and erection teams . - Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and daily work activities . - Verify dimensions, levels, alignment, elevations, and connection details before and during installation. - Coordinate with the main contractor, consultant, client, surveyor, and other subcontractors . - Inspect bolted and welded connections and ensure works comply with approved requirements. - Prepare material requirements and coordinate with the fabrication workshop for production and delivery priorities . - Identify site discrepancies and coordinate necessary modifications with the engineering/fabrication team. - Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, site records, and work completion reports . - Attend site meetings and provide updates regarding progress, technical issues, and required actions. - Ensure work is completed according to the project schedule, quality requirements, and approved method statements . - Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and consultants before proceeding with subsequent works. - Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements , particularly during lifting, welding, hot works, and work at height. Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering . - Previous UAE experience in structural steel fabrication and erection preferred. - Good knowledge of structural steel drawings and connection details . - Able to read and understand shop drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings . - Knowledge of steel erection procedures, welding, bolting, lifting, and installation. - Good communication and site coordination skills. - Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Excel . - UAE driving licence is an advantage. Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
