The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and monitoring construction activities on-site, ensuring that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements. The role involves close coordination with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure efficient execution and timely resolution of technical and site-related issues. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on-site. Ensure construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Review drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents relevant to site activities. Inspect completed and ongoing works to ensure compliance with required quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders. Monitor site progress against approved project schedules and report any delays or issues. Identify technical problems and coordinate with the relevant teams to ensure timely resolution. Monitor the use of materials, equipment, manpower, and other site resources. Attend site inspections, testing, and technical meetings as required. Prepare daily and periodic site reports documenting progress, issues, inspections, and required actions. Follow up on snagging, corrective works, and close-out activities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and site regulations. Coordinate with the Project Manager and Construction Manager on project progress and site requirements. Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, approvals, and relevant documentation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related engineering field. 4–10 years of relevant professional experience in site supervision, construction, or engineering consultancy. Proven experience working on construction projects, preferably within consultancy or project management environments. Strong knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, and quality control practices. Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and technical documentation. Experience coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong ability to monitor construction progress and identify technical or execution issues. Good knowledge of inspection procedures, material approvals, testing, and snagging processes. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office ; familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, or other project management tools is an advantage. Good knowledge of relevant construction codes, standards, and health and safety requirements. Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment. Willingness to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt . Pay: E£15,000.00 - E£30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
