The role involves ensuring that electrical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities at the construction site. Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements before execution. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, architectural, and other site teams to avoid clashes and delays. Monitor the installation of electrical systems, including: LV/MV electrical systems Distribution boards and panels Cable trays, trunking, and conduits Power and lighting systems Earthing and lightning protection Generators, transformers, and related equipment Fire alarm and low-current systems, where applicable Ensure electrical installations are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, and material specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and identify defective, incomplete, or non-compliant work. Coordinate with subcontractors, electricians, suppliers, consultants, and project management teams. Prepare and maintain daily/weekly progress reports and site records. Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and work progress to meet project deadlines. Assist in material inspection and ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved submittals. Raise and follow up on RFIs, inspection requests, technical queries, and site issues. Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Assist in preparing as-built drawings and project handover documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, authority requirements, project specifications, and HSE procedures. Participate in toolbox talks, safety inspections, and site coordination meetings. Monitor work quality and ensure corrective actions are completed promptly. Support the Project Manager and Electrical Manager in resolving technical and construction-related issues. Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Relevant experience in electrical construction and site supervision. Strong knowledge of electrical installation practices and construction procedures. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Knowledge of testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management software is an advantage. Good coordination and communication skills. Knowledge of construction-site safety and quality-control requirements.
