Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is required. The designer will work to produce designs for a variety of products including freestanding monument signage, building signage, promotional signage, indoor signage, promotional items, print, vehicle graphics, and more. Understanding the signage fabrication proces, sign production and sign installation is an important skill as your designs will come to life using these fabrication methods. The designer will develop plans and engineered drawings for permitting for signage projects. Successful candidate can balance creativity and accuracy with quick turnaround. The designer plays an essential role on the team, insuring that the vision of the customer, designed by you, is translated properly to fabrication partners and installation crews. We are looking for an energetic contributor, with team skills, who can thrive in our busy, deadline-driven shop. We look forward to meeting you! - Develop innovative signage concepts through sketching, digital illustration, and layout design using graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. - Create compelling branding elements including logos, typography designs for media, and visual motifs that align with client objectives. - Prepare comprehensive design files optimized for production, ensuring accurate color management, proper layout setup, and adherence to fabrication standards. - Collaborate with sign manufacturing teams to translate digital designs into physical signs through technical specifications and production design - Conduct photo editing and photo manipulation to support marketing materials or client projects while maintaining high-quality standards. - Apply knowledge of color theory, typography, and layout principles to produce visually appealing signage that captures attention and communicates effectively. - Ensure all designs meet brand guidelines and project deadlines while maintaining attention to detail throughout the creative process. Experience - Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing signage, branding, digital art, and print design projects. - Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, CorelDRAW, and other relevant tools. - Familiarity with motion graphics creation using Adobe After Effects or similar programs is highly desirable. - Technical proficiency in sign manufacturing processes such as sign fabrication techniques and print production workflows. - Knowledge of color management systems and prepress procedures to ensure high-quality output across various media formats. - Strong understanding of typography design for media combined with excellent presentation skills to communicate ideas clearly. - Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects efficiently. - Ability to prepare and apply vinyl graphics in shop and in the field a plus. - Desire to learn new methods and techniques a must. Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
