Luxo Living is looking for an exceptional retail sales leader to take ownership of our Wetherill Park showroom. This is not a traditional retail management role. We want someone commercial, energetic and ambitious who knows how to build a high-performing sales team, create an outstanding customer experience and turn showroom traffic into strong sales results. You’ll have real ownership of the showroom — its people, performance, presentation and customer experience — with the opportunity to identify improvements, implement ideas and make a measurable impact on the business. Our customers shop with us online across Australia, while our Wetherill Park showroom gives Sydney customers the opportunity to experience our products and brand in person. We’re ambitious, fast-moving and constantly looking for better ways to grow. We’re now looking for a strong retail leader to take our showroom to the next level. What You’ll Own Sales & Commercial Performance You’ll be accountable for the showroom’s sales performance. You’ll: Drive monthly showroom sales and profitability targets Improve sales conversion, average order value and other key KPIs Coach the team to identify customer needs and confidently close sales Monitor performance and take action when results fall behind Identify opportunities to increase traffic, conversion and revenue Lead from the front during busy periods and major promotions Find new ways to improve the commercial performance of the showroom You won’t simply report the numbers — you’ll be expected to improve them. You’ll: Recruit, onboard and develop talented showroom staff Set clear expectations and hold people accountable Coach team members regularly to improve their sales performance Recognise strong performers and address underperformance quickly Create an energetic, positive and results-focused sales culture Build a team customers enjoy buying from and great people want to join Deliver an Outstanding Customer Experience Furniture is a considered purchase, and our showroom experience should reflect that. You’ll ensure customers receive knowledgeable, friendly and commercially focused service from the moment they enter the showroom. That means: Understanding what customers are trying to create in their homes Helping them confidently choose the right products Building trust without using pushy sales tactics Handling difficult or escalated situations professionally Ensuring enquiries are followed up and sales opportunities aren’t lost Creating an experience that makes customers want to return and recommend Luxo Living Own the Showroom You’ll treat the showroom like your own business. You’ll take responsibility for: Showroom presentation and visual merchandising Product displays and floor layout Rostering and staff coverage Daily operating standards POS and payment processes Product knowledge across the team Ex-display and demonstration products Showroom cleanliness and presentation Working with Marketing on promotions, events, campaigns and content Who We’re Looking For We care more about what you’ve achieved than whether your background matches a narrow job title. You may currently be a: Showroom Manager Store Manager Retail Sales Manager Assistant Store Manager ready to step up Department Manager Senior Sales Leader You’ll ideally have: Experience leading a retail store, showroom or sales team A strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets Proven ability to coach and improve salespeople Strong commercial instincts and confidence working with KPIs High standards for customer service and presentation The confidence to make decisions and solve problems without waiting to be told what to do Excellent communication and people-management skills Strong organisation and attention to detail Experience with retail POS systems and everyday business technology Experience in furniture, homewares, bedding, kitchens, flooring, appliances, interiors, premium retail or another consultative sales environment would be highly regarded — but it isn’t essential if you’re an outstanding retail sales leader. You’ll also need to be available to work Saturdays.
