We are looking for a highly skilled Shopify Developer who can take ownership of our Shopify website — from development and UI/UX improvements to SEO, AI search visibility and conversion optimisation. Key Responsibilities - Develop, customise and maintain our Shopify website and Shopify theme - Build high-end, luxury UI/UX experiences suitable for a premium jewellery brand - Improve website speed, performance, mobile responsiveness and overall user experience - Design and optimise product pages, collection pages, landing pages and navigation - Develop advanced Shopify features such as Ring Builder, product filters, diamond search and comparison tools - Integrate third-party APIs, apps and jewellery/diamond inventory systems where required - Work closely with the management team on website strategy, design and functionality - Implement technical SEO and on-page SEO best practices - Optimise the website for AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) and visibility across AI search platforms - Implement GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) strategies to improve brand/product visibility in AI-generated search results - Optimise website structure, schema markup, metadata, internal linking, URLs and structured data - Improve Google Search visibility, Core Web Vitals and organic traffic - Ensure product and category content is structured for Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and other AI/search engines - Analyse website performance and conversion data and continuously improve CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) - Create and implement visually appealing website sections, banners and basic graphics/web assets - Collaborate with photographers, designers, marketing team and management when required Required Skills Must Have: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on Shopify development experience - Strong experience with Shopify / Shopify 2.0 - Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript - Strong UI/UX design understanding - Experience designing luxury/premium e-commerce websites is preferred - Strong understanding of SEO - Knowledge of AEO, GEO and AI search optimisation - Experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics - Understanding of website speed optimisation and Core Web Vitals - Knowledge of schema markup / structured data - Ability to work with Shopify apps, APIs and third-party integrations - Basic to strong graphics/design skills for e-commerce websites - Strong understanding of mobile-first design and responsive development Preferred Tools & Software Experience with some or all of: - Shopify - Shopify Liquid - HTML / CSS / JavaScript - Figma - Adobe Photoshop - Adobe Illustrator - Canva - Google Search Console - Google Analytics - Google Tag Manager - Ahrefs / SEMrush - PageSpeed Insights / Lighthouse - AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is more than just a developer . You should be able to look at our website and say: “This is how we can make it look more luxurious, load faster, rank higher, appear in AI search results and convert more customers.” You will have significant ownership over the digital experience of Ratan Sajan Diamonds and will work directly with management to build a world-class luxury jewellery e-commerce platform. Candidates with experience in luxury jewellery, diamonds, watches, fashion or other premium e-commerce brands will be preferred. Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
