Schedule: Monday through Thursday , 6:15am-5:30pm, with overtime as needed.

Pay Rate: $19.00

Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Shipping Team Lead to drive our operational efficiency and ensure the seamless fulfillment of customer orders.

This position will help support their team wherever needed; prepare orders, pulling material, pack boxes, loading orders onto trucks, etc.

This role will report to the Shipping Supervisor in Ogden, UT. Monday through Thursday, 6:15am-5:30pm, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Lead, train, and evaluate shipping team members, fostering a positive work environment. - Assign and oversee daily shipping tasks to meet business needs and productivity goals. - Troubleshoot issues related to shipping and equipment. - Ensure team members follow all safety procedures and company policies and conduct safety audits of the shipping area. - Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures. - Scan and sort outgoing orders. - Prepare orders by processing requests; picking; packing boxes; loading orders into trucks. - Maintain equipment in good condition. - Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts. - Strong sense of time management and urgency. - Working collaboratively with other members and independently. - Ensure a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, packing area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. - Assist in training new hires. - Other tasks as assigned. Requirements:

Required skills and qualifications:

- Proven experience as a team lead or a similar role in a shipping, warehouse, or logistics environment. - Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills. - Proficient knowledge of shipping procedures, protocols, and regulations. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction and upholding team performance standards. - Ability to use tools and machines. - Basic computer skills required. - Good understanding of quality control principles. - Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. - Excellent time-management skills. - Willing and able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. - Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear). - Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

- Prolonged periods working on feet and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent grasping, bending, walking, reaching, twisting, and pivoting. - Consistently stretch/ reach with both hands and arms. - Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and box filters. - Ability to bend, squat, and lift frequently. - Lift up to 40 pounds, frequently. - This position works in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. Temperatures vary with outdoor conditions and may be hot in summer and cold in winter. - The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
