ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - SERVICE CREW CUM BARISTA Roles: Responsible for a dual-function position that combines the duties of front-of-house hospitality with the skills of coffee and beverage preparation. Primary responsibilities may include but are not limited to: ● Guest Experience - Welcome customers warmly, take accurate orders, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations ● Order Management - Process orders and payments via the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle cash, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure items are served promptly ● Feedback & Resolution - Escalate customer feedback or handle complaints professionally to ensure a positive customer experience ● Coffee Expertise - Grind coffee beans, operate espresso machines, and craft a range of hot and cold beverages (e.g., lattes, cappuccinos) with consistent taste and quality ● Food Service - Prepare and serve café menu items, which may include sandwiches, bread and other light food offerings, following recipes and presentation standards ● Menu Knowledge - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, seasonal specials, and promotions to inform customers and up-sell where appropriate ● Cleanliness - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the bar, dining tables, counters, and floors, in line with health and safety regulations ● Equipment Care - Clean and sanitize barista equipment (machines, grinders) and utensils, and report any maintenance needs ● Stock Management - Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking supplies, and ensure proper storage (e.g., FIFO - First In, First Out) ● Collaboration - Work closely with team members and management to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment ● Operational Support - Assist with opening/closing duties, participate in promotional events, help with inventory checks, and adapt to various tasks as assigned by managers Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month Benefits: Meal provided Professional development Work Location: In person
