SEO Team Lead

Lead our team of contract SEO specialists, set SEO strategy and run SEO projects for 30 Lines' multifamily clients. You'll own the quality standard for all SEO work, report on the results that matter (qualified traffic, leads, tours and leases) and step into hands-on work when the team needs it. Full time, remote in eligible states, $55,000 to $65,000 per year.

About 30 Lines

30 Lines is a digital marketing agency built for the multifamily industry. We run the websites, search, advertising and lead nurturing behind hundreds of apartment communities across the country, and we have been doing it long enough to know the difference between marketing that looks good in a report and marketing that fills apartments.

We are a small, senior team. The work you own is yours, and there is no layer between you and the client outcome. We are fully remote and AI-forward: our tools are changing how the work gets done, and we want people who push on that.

- Schedule: Full-time, salaried (exempt) - Location: Remote. You must live and work in Florida, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina or Virginia. - Pay: $55,000 to $65,000 per year, base salary - Reports to: Director of Product Operations - Sponsorship: We are unable to sponsor work visas for this role.

What you'll do

- Lead the team. Assign and prioritize the work of our contract SEO specialists (currently 3), set deadlines and capacity, review work, coach and train, run team check-ins and coordinate contractor onboarding and offboarding with our staffing partners. - Drive SEO strategy. Decide what our SEO services include, what we improve next and what we stop doing as Google and AI-driven search change, and build the processes, documentation and tools that let the service scale without losing quality. - Run SEO projects. Scope, schedule and track client and corporate SEO projects in Asana, remove blockers and keep work on time and on standard. - Own quality. Set the standard for every SEO deliverable, review work before clients see it and keep technical SEO health (indexing, site structure, schema, speed) on track. - Prove results. Report on non-branded visibility, qualified traffic, leads, tours and leases, and align with PPC, RentPress, Lead Nurturing, Content, Client Success and Sales so each client's strategy works as one. - Roll up your sleeves. Step into hands-on SEO as overflow, about 20% of your time at most: technical audits, listings and Google Business Profile updates, content and trust pages, keyword research, and backlink and citation work. - Protect client data. Keep least-privilege access to client search and analytics properties for yourself and the team, and complete assigned SOC 2 tasks.

What you'll bring

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent experience - 1 to 3 years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical SEO - Experience leading SEO projects or directing the work of other team members - Technical SEO depth across many sites or locations, not a single property - Knowledge of Fair Housing advertising requirements, required within 90 days of hire

Nice to have

- Multifamily, property management or real estate marketing experience - Agency or multi-client experience - Google Search Console, GA4, Google Business Profile and enterprise SEO tools - WordPress and structured data; local SEO and listings at scale - AI-driven search, including AI Overviews and answer engines - Product ownership with sprints and a real backlog - Leading remote or contractor teams across time zones - Asana or a similar project management tool - SOC 2 or a similar compliance program
