We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Intern who is eager to learn and gain practical experience in search engine optimisation, technical SEO, content optimisation and the evolving landscape of AI search.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Assist with on-page SEO optimisation, including titles, meta descriptions, headings and internal linking.
• Support technical SEO audits and identify website optimisation opportunities.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and website performance.
• Work with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
• Assist with website audits using tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs and SEMrush.
• Support content optimisation and SEO-friendly content planning.
• Assist with backlink research and off-page SEO activities.
• Understand and implement basic Local SEO strategies.
• Learn emerging SEO practices, including AI SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
• Prepare weekly SEO performance reports and maintain keyword tracking sheets.

Requirements & Skills

• Basic understanding of SEO principles and search engine algorithms.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics is an advantage.
• Understanding of keyword research and website optimisation.
• Good analytical and research skills.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Willingness to learn new SEO tools, technologies and industry developments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
