We specialise in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and have an interest in the legal sector. We're seeking an experienced SEO Analyst to join our Liverpool office team. The Job In this role, your day-to-day duties will involve: - Conducting in-depth keyword research to identify all angles of a topic. This involves using tools such as Google Search Console, Analytics, AHrefs, SEMrush and other keyword research tools - Drafting content briefs based on your keyword research which our content writers can use to write an article - Briefs should be helpful, thorough, well-structured and designed to rank well in search engines - Conducting in-depth competitor analysis is also part of the role, in particular, studying their on-page performance to determine what works and what doesn’t. - Other tasks you may also be required to provide support with include: - Analysing live pages and conducting optimisation tasks - Providing training on SEO to colleagues - Supporting the Head of SEO in any tasks that arise What we’re looking for in the successful applicant: - Knowledge of SEO , researching and using keywords, backlinking and experience in using SEO tools is essential. We seek someone who is truly passionate about SEO. - Experience in using WordPress is also essential. - Conducting research also forms a big part of this role. Our articles cover technical subjects so experience in research and scrutinising data sources is therefore essential. - We pride ourselves on our friendly, sociable and laid back atmosphere, so good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. We seek people who are willing to go above and beyond for their colleagues. - A strong background in writing, or a passion for writing , is desirable. Within your application, please provide links to or examples of your writing. - Attention to detail is a big part of this role . You will be expected to update sometimes complex and technical articles which require a sharp editorial eye. - Organisation is also vital. You will be responsible for your workload and will be assigned targets and deadlines to meet. - A creative mind. The Benefits The starting salary is up to £30,000, depending on experience. We offer 28 days of annual leave per year, including bank holidays. This increases with each year of service.
