We are rebuilding our existing WordPress website. The website has already been designed and specified. The following work is already complete and will be supplied to the developer: Website strategy and structure Desktop layouts Mobile layouts Visual identity and design system Colours and typography Navigation structure Homepage Service-page template Reusable module system Individual service pages Page copy Fees Clinician information Calls to action Opening hours and contact information HTML prototypes / implementation references Technical/design specifications We are not looking for: UI/UX design Branding Website strategy Copywriting Page redesign An agency to reinterpret the website We need an experienced, hands-on senior WordPress developer to take the completed website materials and turn them into a fast, maintainable production website, migrate the existing site safely and launch it. Please do not apply unless you meet ALL of the following You must: Be currently based in Dubai Have at least 5 years of substantial professional WordPress development experience Have personally built and launched production WordPress websites Be able to show at least 3 live websites you personally developed Be comfortable building custom WordPress templates/components rather than relying entirely on Elementor or purchased themes Have genuine experience with website migrations, hosting and DNS Understand MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC and how to protect working business email during a website cutover Have experience with WordPress plugins, WooCommerce/payment integrations and third-party services Understand technical SEO and 301 redirects Have experience with staging → production deployment Be able to commit approximately 50 hours per week for two weeks Have normal daytime availability during the project for reviews, revisions and launch issues Personally perform the work Do not apply if: Your main experience is installing themes and changing Elementor content You cannot confidently manage DNS/hosting and a live-domain migration You intend to outsource or subcontract the project You intend to complete the project only during evenings/weekends alongside another full-time development job You are not physically based in Dubai Agencies, account managers and outsourced teams will not be considered. What you will build The new website will be a clean implementation of the completed CPMC website system. The site includes approximately: Homepage Around 16 clinical/service pages Service-category pages Clinician profiles Fees About Contact Knowledge Hub / educational content Supporting/legal pages You should create a reusable WordPress architecture , not manually reproduce every service page as an unrelated standalone design. Common modules and layouts should be reusable so future clinic staff or developers can maintain the website efficiently. Mobile implementation is critical The majority of CPMC website users access the site on mobile. Mobile is therefore not a simplified afterthought . The supplied responsive behaviour must be implemented carefully across: iPhone / Safari Android / Chrome Tablets Common laptop resolutions Desktop Safari, Chrome and Edge Larger screens The finished website must accurately reflect the supplied mobile and desktop designs. Existing Semble booking integration CPMC already uses Semble as its practice-management and booking system. The booking integration already exists on the current website. You are not being asked to build a booking system. The existing implementation should be reviewed and the relevant Semble booking integration reproduced/embedded into the new website. Previous implementation of this functionality required approximately one working day. The developer must test the complete patient journey before launch. Klarna / payment integration Klarna/payment functionality also already exists on the current website and uses an existing plugin/integration approach. You are not being asked to design or engineer a bespoke payment platform. The existing functionality should be reproduced appropriately in the new build and fully tested. Previous Klarna implementation required only a few hours. Complex bespoke refund functionality is not part of the core project requirement . WordPress / CMS requirements Clinic staff must be able to safely update defined content after launch without breaking the design. The developer should therefore create sensible editable fields/templates for content such as: Fees Clinician information FAQs Opening hours Service copy Images Knowledge Hub articles Defined CTA content The core visual system and module behaviour should remain protected from accidental editing. Migration and SEO The existing website has been live for approximately 11 years. Its existing domain and accumulated search value must be protected. The existing site remains live until the new website has passed final testing. You will be responsible for: Staging build Backup of existing website before cutover Mapping existing important URLs Retaining URLs where sensible Implementing appropriate 301 redirects Preserving page titles/meta information where required XML sitemap Robots configuration Search Console preparation Broken-link checks Post-launch crawl/checks This is a clean rebuild , not an attempt to preserve the old theme/codebase. DNS, domain and clinic email — critical requirement CPMC email uses the same domain as the website. Clinic email must not be disrupted during launch. Before changing anything, you must document the existing DNS configuration including, where applicable: A / AAAA records CNAME MX SPF DKIM DMARC Verification records Relevant third-party records Existing email-related records must not be casually changed. A clear rollback plan must exist before production cutover. If you have never personally handled the migration of an established live website/domain while protecting business email, this role is probably not suitable for you. Hosting, staging and ownership Development will take place on a separate staging environment. The current website remains live until final approval. All critical infrastructure must remain under CPMC ownership/control , including: Domain registrar DNS Hosting WordPress admin Staging Production Source code/Git repository Analytics Search Console Plugin/integration accounts where applicable The developer receives access to CPMC infrastructure rather than creating critical systems permanently in their own accounts. Analytics and consent The implementation should include/configure as required: GA4 Google Tag Manager Google Search Console Conversion/event tracking Cookie consent Appropriate UK GDPR / PECR implementation Performance and accessibility The finished website must be optimised rather than simply made visually correct. This includes: Image optimisation Appropriate caching CSS/JS optimisation Lazy loading where appropriate Mobile performance Core Web Vitals Cross-browser testing WCAG 2.2 AA implementation where applicable to the supplied website Git, documentation and handover Work should be professionally managed. Requirements include: CPMC-owned Git repository Regular meaningful commits No shared anonymous developer accounts Proper staging and production workflow Plugin/dependency list Hosting/DNS documentation Backup and restore instructions Deployment notes Analytics/integration information Known limitations documented Complete admin handover Another competent WordPress developer must be able to take over the website after completion without needing the original developer's permission or intervention. Two-week project timetableDay 1 — Dubai face-to-face kickoff Review: Complete supplied website Current live website Hosting/DNS Staging WordPress architecture Existing Semble implementation Existing payment/Klarna implementation Migration approach URL/SEO plan By the end of Day 1 we should have agreed the technical implementation and identified any genuine blockers. Days 2–5 — Core build Expected progress: WordPress environment operational Theme/template architecture established Header/navigation/footer complete Homepage implemented Master service template implemented Mobile behaviour working Core reusable modules operational End of Week 1 — mandatory face-to-face Dubai review This is a working session, not a progress presentation . The developer should open the actual staging website and demonstrate functioning mobile and desktop pages. Any implementation errors or deviations are identified immediately. Days 6–8 — Complete production build Remaining pages CMS fields/workflows Semble integration Klarna/payment integration Forms Analytics Consent SEO Redirects Remaining responsive work Days 9–10 — QA and launch preparation Full mobile QA Desktop/browser QA Performance Accessibility Broken links Forms Booking Payment Redirects DNS verification Backups Rollback preparation Final Dubai working session / launch Face-to-face final review prior to production cutover. New site deployed only after CPMC approval. Production completion deadline: 10 October 2026. Post-launch A 10-working-day defect warranty is required. This covers bugs or faults in the agreed delivered work. New functionality, enhancements or additional scope are not included. Fee AED 6000 fixed project fee. Payment will be made against agreed milestones, with a proportion retained until successful production launch and handover. There may be limited flexibility for an exceptional candidate with particularly strong WordPress migration/DNS experience , but applicants should assume the advertised fee. Your CV, GitHub/GitLab if applicable, and three live WordPress websites that you personally built . For each website, state briefly: What did you personally build? Was it a new build or migration? Did you personally handle hosting/DNS? Also state: Current employment status Availability over the next three weeks Earliest start date Whether you can commit approximately 100 hours across the two-week project Shortlisted candidates will attend a face-to-face interview in Dubai with their laptop . We will ask you to demonstrate actual work that you personally developed and discuss a live website migration you personally handled.
