About the Role

Pitstop Autoworks is seeking an experienced Sr. Service Technician / Service Team Leader to lead workshop operations while providing advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services across multiple vehicle brands. This role combines technical expertise, team leadership, and coaching responsibilities to ensure outstanding service quality, workshop productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop Leadership

• Supervise daily workshop operations and allocate jobs based on technician skills and workload.
• Monitor technician productivity and workshop efficiency to achieve operational targets.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Management to ensure timely vehicle delivery.
• Maintain workshop discipline, safety standards, and compliance with company policies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop performance and profitability.

Technical Excellence

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
• Ensure repairs are completed according to OEM standards and company procedures.
• Conduct quality inspections and final checks to ensure first-time-fix performance.
• Diagnose recurring vehicle issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Maintain proper documentation of repairs and job card updates.

Training & Team Development

• Mentor, train, and support technicians, apprentices, and trainees.
• Deliver on-the-job coaching and technical guidance.
• Assess team competency and identify development opportunities.
• Promote best practices in repair quality, safety, and customer service.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance workshop culture.

Customer & Quality Focus

• Address technical escalations and support the resolution of customer complaints.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced and delivered at the highest quality standards.
• Support initiatives aimed at improving customer satisfaction and workshop reputation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalent vocational qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of automotive workshop experience, including supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong experience in multi-brand vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and workshop management systems.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
