Purpose The primary purpose of this role is to drive tax compliance, calculation, and risk mitigation across all operations, ensuring complete adherence to complex federal, state, and municipal tax laws. Working with a high degree of technical autonomy, the Senior Tax Analyst manages complex direct and indirect tax calculations, validates mandatory ancillary filings, and identifies tax credit opportunities—including navigating ongoing Tax Reform updates. Additionally, the position safeguards corporate financial health through accurate tax-to-book reconciliations, effective audit management, and cross-functional guidance. Key Responsibilities Tax Calculation: Review and calculate direct and indirect taxes (ICMS, ICMS-ST, ICMS-DIFAL, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, IR, INSS, IBS, and CBS). Ancillary Obligations: Manage, validate, and submit federal, state, and municipal declarations (such as SPED Fiscal, SPED Contribuições, EFD-Reinf, GIA, DCTFWeb, PER/DCOMP, etc.). Reconciliation and Closing: Perform tax-to-book account reconciliations and support the monthly accounting close process. Audits and Inspections: Respond to internal, external, and government tax authority audits. Compliance and Legislation: Monitor updates in tax legislation and Tax Reform rules to identify business impacts and tax credit opportunities. Qualifications and Desired Profile Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or Economics. Experience: Solid background in corporate tax, focusing on complex tax calculations and compliance routines. Systems: Proficiency in DATASUL ERP and advanced MS Office skills. Competencies: Strong analytical mindset, technical autonomy, organizational skills, and the ability to guide team members. Preferred: Advanced English skills.
