This role involves collaborating closely with our wider team to deliver a strong pipeline of exciting projects. We are an engineering design house specialising in building consulting services. Because we collaborate closely on work nationwide, you will likely handle a diverse mix of projects across Western Australia, South Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria. LCI Structures Growth / National Projects Summary:- Winning very diverse in type and scale projects Experiencing strong recent business success Using a nationwide project approach Offering a wide variety of project locations where LCI are currently managing work across WA, SA, NT, QLD, NSW, and VIC Your key responsibilities will / will potentially include the following: - Plan and manage projects from end-to-end or work in design and construction phases. Project financial management including monitoring project budgets, estimating labour / consultancy costs to completion, dealing with variations, assistance with invoicing and producing final account. Work with other project stakeholders cooperatively to achieve desired project outcomes. Contribute to leading / Being the lead engineer responsible for a multi-disciplinary project team potentially including Structural, Civil, ESD/Sustainability, Mechanical, Electrical, Fire, Hydraulics, Fire Safety and NCC Compliance plus Digital / BIM and CAD Modelling and Documentation resources. Participate in the incorporation of relevant Health and Safety requirements into LCI Design and implementation of LCI quality assurance practices to assist ensure project documentation is to the requisite high standard. Site inspections and site meeting attendance for the purposes of producing site monitoring reports on project works. Coordination of design with other engineers and appreciation of other services disciplines. Preparation of design briefs, fee proposals, tender appraisals and site instructions. Attendance at Design Meetings and workshops / Liaison with Architects, Contractors and Clients as required. Development of engineering documentation and reports as required and to meet project timelines. Production of Engineering calculations. Your skills and experience will include: - Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering / Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis. Experience working on multiple building projects in a multidisciplinary environment. Experience planning and implementing engineering projects Experience of relevant engineering systems/processes/technologies A proven track record delivering high-quality engineering services Excellent interpersonal skills / Ability to effectively communicate at all levels and with all disciplines. Demonstrated capacity to develop relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and negotiate desired outcomes.
