Due to ongoing project requirements and business growth, Volga Systems Limited is seeking multiple experienced Senior Software Engineers with strong MuleSoft and enterprise integration experience. About the Positions We are looking for experienced Software Engineers / MuleSoft Integration Engineers to join our technology team. The successful candidates will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying and supporting enterprise software and integration solutions. The positions involve hands-on software engineering across: MuleSoft Anypoint Platform API development DataWeave HL7 healthcare integration MLLP REST APIs Microservices Oracle/PostgreSQL RabbitMQ CI/CD Automated testing Cloud and enterprise integration Candidates with strong experience in healthcare integration, HL7, LIS and EMR systems will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain enterprise software and integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform . Develop scalable software applications and integration services using Anypoint Studio and DataWeave . Design and develop REST APIs and microservices . Develop enterprise integration solutions using ESB and event-driven architecture. Develop end-to-end healthcare integration workflows. Implement HL7 v2.x / ORU^R01 integrations. Parse, validate, transform and route HL7 messages. Configure and support MLLP communication. Implement HL7 ACK/NACK processing. Map HL7 segments, including OBX , to application and database data models. Integrate Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) . Develop database integrations using Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL . Develop and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures. Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Basic Authentication and Azure AD . Develop automated tests using MUnit and other testing frameworks. Participate in solution architecture and technical design. Perform code reviews and follow software engineering best practices. Develop and maintain GitLab and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines . Deploy applications across development, test and production environments. Implement logging, auditing, exception handling and monitoring. Troubleshoot complex software, API, integration, database and messaging issues. Monitor applications and containers using Grafana and Prometheus . Prepare technical documentation and integration specifications. Work with developers, architects, business analysts, healthcare specialists and customers. Participate in Agile/Scrum development and delivery processes. Provide production support and continuous improvement. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline , or equivalent relevant experience. Strong commercial experience in software engineering and application development . Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform . Strong experience with Anypoint Studio and DataWeave . Experience developing REST APIs . Strong understanding of software development and integration architecture. Experience with Microservices, ESB and Event-Driven Architecture . Experience with HL7 v2.x , preferably ORU^R01. Experience with MLLP and healthcare messaging. Experience integrating healthcare systems such as LIS and EMR. Strong SQL and relational database experience. Experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL . Experience with MUnit or equivalent testing frameworks . Experience with GitLab, Jenkins and CI/CD . Understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, Azure AD and API security. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
