You should bring strong software engineering fundamentals, proven experience delivering production systems, and a mindset focused on quality, security, and continuous improvement. Required experience and skills - Hands-on experience building backend systems (APIs and services) in production environments. - Strong understanding of software design principles, data modeling, and scalable architecture. - Proficiency with modern programming languages and engineering practices, including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD. - Experience working with databases and designing efficient queries and data flows. - Competence with debugging and troubleshooting using logs, metrics, and system behavior. - Clear understanding of security fundamentals and how to apply them during development and review.
