Overview For our Software Development team in Oetwil am See (Canton Zurich), we are looking for a motivated Senior Software Developer – Robotics & Drone Control In this function, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our 3DX™ Blade Platform, which combines autonomous drone flight with AI-powered image analysis. You will work on the software that makes our machines move on their own – from our Android-based drone control stack to the rover that inspects blades from the inside – and take features from first idea to customer release. We value a hands-on approach, a “get things done” mindset, creativity and the ability to solve complex problems. As a Senior Software Developer, you interact with different internal stakeholders to design, build and ship high-quality, production-ready software. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain production software for our inspection drones and rovers Develop AI-powered features such as data analytics, LLM-based assistants and chatbots Own features end to end, from concept to customer release Take part in architecture and design decisions Work closely with field teams and act on their feedback About you Software developer with 5+ years of experience shipping production-grade software Strong in C#/.NET, plus Kotlin or Python Practical experience with AI: LLMs, data science or chatbots You take ownership, make decisions and see problems through to the customer Pragmatic and hands-on, comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities Computer vision, robotics or hardware-related experience is a plus Fluent in English, German is a plus What we offer On paper, we are Software Developers, Electronic Engineers, Entrepreneurs, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Sales experts.
