# Senior Software Developer – Insurance Core Systems **Rising Tide Digital Inc.** · Makati · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 8 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Key Responsibilities - Core PAS Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and web service integrations for core Life Insurance Policy Administration Systems. - Policy Lifecycle Integration: Implement and optimize technical workflows across the full policy lifecycle, including New Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing, Premium/Billing Calculations, and Claims processing. - API & System Integrations: Architect, develop, and consume secure REST and SOAP APIs using XML/JSON for seamless interoperability between core insurance databases and customer/agent portals. - Database & Business Logic Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and PL/SQL scripts in Oracle databases to process business rules, calculations, and data transactions. - Technical Decision-Making & Quality: Lead code reviews, enforce secure coding and CI/CD best practices, perform system debugging, and mentor mid-level developers within an Agile framework. Required Technical Qualifications - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent. - Professional Experience: 5+ years of software development experience specializing in Java/J2EE enterprise backend application development. - Core Tech Stack: - Languages & Frameworks: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST & SOAP Web Services, XML. - Database & Scripting: Strong proficiency in Oracle Database and hands-on writing/tuning of SQL and PL/SQL . - Integrations & Data Handling: Proven experience handling XML data mapping and SOAP/REST payload parsing. - Tools & DevOps: Version Control (Git/GitLab/GitHub), Maven or Gradle, and familiarity with CI/CD deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins).
