What started with studios in Austin, Dallas and Houston is becoming a broader beauty and skincare brand built around confidence, exceptional experiences and products women genuinely love. We are entering an important stage of growth: expanding our studio footprint, launching skincare products and building a marketing organization capable of supporting both. The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Social, Content & Community Specialist to become one of the primary storytellers and community builders behind Hush Hush Tan. You will own the day-to-day social and content engine and help make Hush Hush a brand people do not simply purchase from — they want to follow, talk about and be part of. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage social media primarily from a content calendar. We want someone who understands culture, recognizes a great story happening inside one of our studios, knows what will stop someone from scrolling, and can turn clients, team members, creators and real-world moments into compelling brand content. What You’ll Own - Social & Content — Own day-to-day organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok and priority channels; build the editorial calendar; develop original concepts and briefs; create and capture content when appropriate; and continuously improve performance using data. - Creators, Influencers & Ambassadors — Build relationships with creators who authentically fit Hush Hush; manage gifting, seeding and collaborations; grow local creator networks; identify high-performing UGC; and help build a scalable ambassador program. - Community & Local Brand Building — Develop relationships with complementary brands, communities, and organizations (including sororities); identify partnership and activation opportunities; support studio openings and local events; and deepen Hush Hush’s presence in each market. - Product Launch — Partner with the Fractional CMO and product-launch team on social and creator strategy; build pre-launch anticipation; coordinate creator seeding and UGC; and translate product positioning into social-first storytelling. What Success Looks Like - A recognizable Hush Hush social voice and consistent content rhythm. - Meaningful growth in engagement, organic reach and brand awareness. - A repeatable content pipeline that brings our studios, clients and team to life. - An active network of creators and influencers supporting studio and product growth. - Measurable social and creator support for skincare launches. - A scalable approach to local partnerships, activations and ambassador/community programs. What We’re Looking For - Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in social, content, creator/influencer or brand marketing, ideally within beauty, skincare, wellness, fashion, hospitality or another highly visual consumer brand. - A strong portfolio demonstrating work you personally helped conceptualize or create; the quality of your work matters more to us than a particular title. - Evidence that you have grown engagement or audiences, built creator relationships and translated a brand into culturally relevant content. - Excellent written communication, strong creative instincts and a strong understanding of short-form video and social-native storytelling. - Comfort operating independently and moving from strategy to hands-on execution in a fast-moving, founder-led environment. How You Work You are a builder, not simply a social media administrator. You notice stories other people miss. You are comfortable moving from strategy to execution — getting into a studio and capturing content, contacting a creator, writing a brief, reviewing performance and changing next week’s plan based on what you learned.
