Job Overview

As Senior SAP Basis / Platform Operations Lead on , you’ll guide reliable, secure platform operations across enterprise systems. You’ll lead system administration, software implementation and administration, configuration management, and technical troubleshooting support. You’ll partner with IT, systems engineering, and application teams to strengthen system architecture and keep services available. Your impact: By improving platform reliability and recovery readiness, you help application teams deliver dependable services to the people who rely on them.

Responsibilities

• Lead server administration and system administration, including Windows Server, Linux, UNIX, VMware ESXi, virtualization, storage management, RAID controllers, and server backup and recovery.
• Drive automation, scripting, system tuning, performance tuning, load balancing, and software troubleshooting across IT infrastructure.
• Support information security and computer networking, including Active Directory management, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and operating systems.
• Guide solution architecture, system design, service-oriented architecture, microservices, and systems and applications support.
• Coordinate DevOps and Agile delivery through the software development life cycle (SDLC), Git, Jenkins, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

Experience

• Demonstrated experience leading platform operations, systems engineering, computer management, and technical troubleshooting; a computer science background is useful.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure, Kubernetes, Pegasystems, REST (Representational State Transfer), RESTful APIs (application programming interfaces), and APIs.
• Working knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language), T-SQL (Transact-SQL), PL/SQL (Procedural Language/SQL), Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and NoSQL databases.
• Scripting experience with Python, JavaScript, Java, Bash (Unix shell), or other shell scripting tools; understanding of software administration and implementation practices.

Pay: $65.00 - $72.00 per hour
