The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing scalable and high performance Salesforce solutions, with a solid understanding of Salesforce governor limits, security, data integrity, testing, and enterprise integrations. Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, external user security, and enterprise B2B applications will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement high-performance and scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Future Methods. Develop modern, responsive, and reusable Lightning Web Components (LWC) using JavaScript ES6+. Design and implement automated business processes using Salesforce Flow, including Record-Triggered Flows, Screen Flows, and Flow Orchestrations. Perform efficient DML operations, SOQL/SOSL queries, bulk processing, and high-volume data operations while adhering to Salesforce governor limits. Ensure data integrity through appropriate data management, deletion strategies, hard deletes, and recycle bin management. Design, develop, and consume REST and SOAP APIs for enterprise integrations. Implement asynchronous callout architectures, JSON parsing, Named Credentials, and robust integration error-handling mechanisms. Develop optimized and secure Salesforce solutions following CRUD/FLS, User Mode/System Mode, and with sharing best practices. Write robust unit and integration tests, including mock HTTP callouts and bulkified test scenarios, maintaining a minimum of 85% code coverage. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, production defects, governor limit exceptions, record-locking issues, and data-volume challenges. Conduct peer code reviews and ensure adherence to clean-code, modular architecture, and Salesforce development best practices. Participate in technical discussions, solution design, release management, and deployment activities. Collaborate closely with business analysts, QA engineers, technical leads, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality Salesforce solutions. Required Technical Skills Salesforce Development 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development. Strong expertise in Apex, Triggers, DML, SOQL, and SOSL. Strong understanding of bulkification, governor limits, transaction management, and scalable Apex architecture. Lightning Web Components Strong hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC). Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, HTML, and CSS. Experience building reusable, responsive, and performance-optimized components. Asynchronous Processing Strong understanding of: o Batch Apex o Queueable Apex o Future Methods o Scheduled Apex o Asynchronous execution and processing patterns Salesforce Automation Strong experience with Salesforce Flow. Hands-on experience with Record-Triggered Flows, Screen Flows, and Flow Orchestrations. Ability to determine when to use declarative automation versus custom Apex development. Integrations Hands-on experience developing and consuming REST/SOAP APIs. Experience with Apex HTTP callouts, Named Credentials, JSON/XML parsing, and integration error handling. Understanding of asynchronous integration and callout patterns. Security & Governance Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including: o CRUD/FLS o with sharing / without sharing o User Mode vs. System Mode o Governor Limits o Custom Metadata Types (CMDT) Experience designing secure and scalable Salesforce solutions. Testing & Quality Strong knowledge of Salesforce testing frameworks and best practices. Experience writing robust test classes and mock HTTP callouts. Ability to develop bulkified and comprehensive test scenarios. Ability to maintain 85%+ code coverage while ensuring meaningful test quality. Good-to-Have Skills Hands-on experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Partner/Customer Portals. Experience with LWR or Aura-based Experience Cloud implementations. Understanding of external user security and sharing, including: o Partner Community / Customer Community Plus o Sharing Sets o External Account Hierarchies o Account Relationships o Guest User access controls Experience developing LWC-based solutions for external portal users. Practical experience with Data Loader and Salesforce Bulk API 2.0, including large-volume data ingestion and hard-delete operations. Experience working with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), Automotive, B2B, Supply Chain, or other enterprise applications. Experience with Git, Salesforce CLI (SFDX), and CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to DevOps tools such as Copado, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms. Salesforce certifications such as: o Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I o Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II o Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, particularly around governor limits, data skew, record locking, and high-volume data processing. Strong understanding of clean, modular, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce architecture. Ownership of development tasks from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment, and production support. Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions, trade-offs, and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
