Role overview We are seeking an experienced, energetic, motivated, and proactive Senior Sales Development Representative to accelerate the growth of our North American business. The primary objective of this role is to generate meetings and opportunities with pre-identified accounts by leveraging various channels including email, phone, LinkedIn, and events. You will work closely with Marketing, Account-Based Marketing, and Relationship Managers to develop and roll out targeted messaging to high-value prospects, build awareness, and nurture relationships pre-engagement and pre-handover to Relationship Managers. This role supports new business origination, advances complex sales opportunities, and strengthens executive-level relationships. You will engage confidently with C-suite and senior treasury and finance leaders, uncover strategic business needs, and position Redbridge’s advisory services as high-value, long-term partnerships. In addition to booking introduction meetings, you will actively support Relationship Managers in progressing prospects from Stage 1 (Introduction) to Stage 2 (Sales Qualified Lead – SQL). Beyond individual performance, you will contribute to improving SDR practices and processes and progressively take on a leadership role within the team. This position offers scope to mentor more junior team members and develop toward broader responsibilities as the business grows. Success Metrics (KPIs) Meetings booked with target accounts Accounts and prospects engagement progress SQL / scorecards Increased conversion rate from Intro to SQL (current state: 68%) Quality and effectiveness of prospecting activity Contribution to improving SDR processes, messaging and team performance Key Responsibilities: Own and execute targeted outbound prospecting across phone, email, LinkedIn and events, with responsibility for generating new client meetings and opportunities. Engage confidently with senior executives within treasury and finance departments of large corporations and effectively overcome objections. Partner closely with Relationship Managers and the Head of ABM to craft and execute hyper-targeted prospecting strategies and sequences for priority accounts. Support Relationship Managers in nurturing prospects and progressing opportunities through the sales funnel from Introduction to SQL. Contribute to marketing campaigns, event strategy, and regional or national conferences to promote the Redbridge brand and generate new leads. Analyze outreach performance and identify opportunities to improve messaging, targeting, conversion and SDR effectiveness. Identify inefficiencies in outbound processes and recommend improvements. Help implement and optimize new tools, workflows and prospecting strategies. Share best practices and contribute to SDR training and onboarding materials. Mentor and coach more junior SDRs as the team develops. Act as a role model for SDR best practices, while remaining directly accountable for individual prospecting and meeting-generation targets. Required Competencies: 4+ years of experience in sales development, business development, outbound sales, lead generation or a similar B2B sales role. Demonstrated track record of generating qualified meetings and opportunities through outbound prospecting. Experience working with CRM and sales outbound platforms; Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo are preferred. Experience engaging treasury and finance leaders, Fortune 1000 businesses, or working within consulting or financial services is strongly valued. Strong cold-calling and objection-handling capabilities, with confidence engaging senior and C-suite executives. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging to different senior stakeholders. Strong executive presence and ability to translate business and economic insights into relevant prospect conversations. Process- and systems-oriented, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements. Proven autonomy and ability to take ownership of prospecting initiatives from targeting through meeting generation and qualification. Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and contribute to team development. Interest in mentoring junior colleagues and developing toward broader leadership responsibilities. Ambition to grow into a leadership role as the SDR function develops.
