Working closely with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, architects, and clients, you will play a key role in driving commercial performance and project profitability. Key Responsibilities Managing all commercial aspects of assigned projects from procurement through to final account. Preparing cost plans, budgets, bills of quantities, and tender documentation. Leading subcontractor procurement, negotiations, appointments, and ongoing commercial administration. Managing valuations, variations, claims, change orders, and cost reporting. Producing accurate monthly cost reports and cashflow forecasts. Ensuring compliance with contract conditions, project specifications, and industry regulations. Working closely with site management teams to monitor progress, manage risk, and maintain cost control. Liaising with clients, architects, consultants, and stakeholders to provide commercial updates and resolve issues effectively. What you'll Need to Succeed Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline. Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level within residential, refurbishment, conservation, or commercial construction projects. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement strategies, and contract administration. Excellent measurement, estimating, and cost management capabilities. Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
