The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing scalable automation frameworks across both UI and API layers and using tools such as GitHub Copilot and Devin to accelerate test development and improve automation coverage. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end UI automation frameworks using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript . Build and validate RESTful API test suites using Cucumber JS, HTTP requests, Postman, and/or SoapUI . Replicate UI workflows at the REST/API layer using Python-based automation frameworks to validate backend functionality. Develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation components and testing patterns. Actively use GitHub Copilot and Devin to generate, optimize, and review automation scripts, accelerating test coverage and reducing manual effort. Author and maintain Devin Playbooks specifically for Test Automation Developers and QE Engineers. Develop playbooks covering script generation, framework scaffolding, test-data setup, and common automation patterns . Collaborate with developers, QE engineers, and other technology teams to improve overall product quality and automation coverage. Identify opportunities to reduce manual testing through effective automation and AI-assisted engineering practices. Provide technical leadership and guidance on test automation architecture, framework design, coding standards, and best practices .
