This role involves developing QA/QC procedures, conducting inspections, and leading quality initiatives throughout project lifecycles. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES · Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures and policies in accordance with project requirements and industry standards. · Conduct regular inspections and audits on-site to ensure compliance with quality standards, plans, and specifications. · Review and approve quality control documentation, including method statements and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs). · Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues and ensure timely corrective actions. · Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders. · Lead quality training sessions and workshops for project personnel to enhance awareness and adherence to quality standards. Stay updated with industry best practices and relevant regulations to ensure continuous improvement in quality management processes. BACKGROUND, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. · Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC engineering within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior role. · Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and relevant regulatory requirements. · Proven experience in managing QA/QC for large-scale construction projects, particularly in the UAE. Skills · Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quality metrics and implement corrective actions. · Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with teams and stakeholders. · Team Leadership: Ability to work effectively in a team, lead quality initiatives, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. · Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to identify and rectify quality issues proactively. · Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and industry trends.
