Fire Fighting System Oversight: o Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of fire protection systems, including sprinklers, hydrants, fire pumps, and suppression systems. o Ensure all fire systems comply with local, national, and international fire safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, BS, or local regulations). Resource Management: o Allocate and manage resources effectively, including labor, materials, and subcontractors. o Ensure proper coordination between mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines. Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: o Collaborate with clients, consultants, vendors, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution. o Manage contracts, negotiate with suppliers, and monitor third-party service providers. Quality and Safety Compliance: o Implement and enforce strict quality assurance and safety protocols. o Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure project and safety compliance. Budget and Cost Control: o Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and control costs without compromising quality. o Provide regular financial and progress reports to senior management. Risk Management: o Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. o Resolve project issues promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP/Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically in fire protection and firefighting systems. Proven track record of managing large-scale fire system installation projects in commercial, industrial, or residential sectors. Skills and Competencies: In-depth knowledge of fire protection systems, safety codes, and regulatory standards. Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality, safety, and deadlines.
