Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and manage major construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in general contracting, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from planning and mobilization through execution and final handover.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 12–15 years of experience in the construction industry, with substantial experience in project management.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with a contract value of AED 100 million or above.
• Strong background in general contracting and coordination of civil, structural, architectural, MEP, finishing, and external works.
• Experience managing projects from commencement to completion, including planning, budgeting, procurement, cost control, and handover.
• Strong knowledge of project schedules, contractual matters, variations, claims, risk management, and quality control.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage demanding workloads, and deliver projects under pressure.
• Good knowledge of UAE construction practices and local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for project execution, progress, budget, quality, and timely completion.
• Lead and coordinate project engineers, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when required.
• Manage resources, project risks, contractual obligations, and construction challenges.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and ensure successful project handover.

Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
