# Senior Project Manager **GLP & Sons, Inc.** · Yonkers, NY 10701 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role *Senior Project Manager — Heavy Civil / Bridge Construction* GLP & Sons, Inc. · Westchester County, NY · Full-time · [Salary range] · [Reports to: Principal / VP Operations] *About GLP & Sons* GLP & Sons is a heavy civil contractor building public infrastructure in the New York metropolitan area. We win work on our reputation, and that reputation comes down to two things: we do what we say we will do, and we treat every person on the job — owner's staff, inspectors, subcontractors, laborers, neighbors — with respect. Those aren't slogans to us. They decide who we hire and who we keep. We are a growing company, and we grow from the inside. The people who join us now will shape how GLP runs projects for years to come. *The Role* You will lead a municipal bridge construction project in Westchester County from notice of award through closeout. It is a public works contract with a fixed completion date, prevailing wage requirements, multiple specialty subcontractors, and an owner and engineering team who will be closely involved. You will own the project end to end — schedule, budget, quality, safety, people, and the client relationship. This is not a narrow seat. At our size, a Senior Project Manager also estimates the next job, helps buy out subcontractors, sits in on owner negotiations, and weighs in on how the company operates. If you do this well, the path leads to running multiple projects, a division, or operations for the company. *What You Will Do* Run the project day to day and serve as GLP's primary point of contact with the owner, engineer of record, and construction manager Build and hold the CPM schedule (P6 or MS Project), including long-lead procurement, permitting, utility coordination, and work-zone sequencing Manage subcontractors and trades from scope letters and buyout through daily coordination and closeout Own the project financials: cost-to-complete, monthly requisitions, retainage, change orders, cash flow, and margin reporting to ownership Drive submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings through review on a schedule that protects the critical path Ensure full compliance with NYS Labor Law Article 8: prevailing wage, certified payroll, OSHA-10/30, subcontractor registration, and the owner's reporting requirements Lead safety on a project that includes demolition, crane operations, and work over and adjacent to live traffic Direct the superintendent and field team, and be on site for critical operations, including night work Anticipate problems — field conditions, quantity overruns, weather, lead times — and bring solutions to the owner before they become disputes Contribute beyond the project: support estimating and bid reviews, help develop field staff, and help build the systems a growing contractor needs *What You Bring* 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience with at least 5 years as project manager of record on bridge, structural, or transportation projects Direct experience with public owners in New York (municipal, county, NYSDOT, or authority work) and with prevailing-wage contracts Proven command of project financials — you have owned a P&L, forecasted cost-to-complete, and defended a change order Experience managing multi-trade subcontractor teams and specialty vendors, including long-lead structural components Working knowledge of maintenance-and-protection-of-traffic plans, night work, and permitted lane and road closures Fluency in scheduling software (P6 or MS Project), Procore or equivalent, and Excel-based cost tracking OSHA 30; valid driver's license Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent field experience *Preferred* Prefabricated or modular bridge erection; crane and rigging planning Oversight of environmental abatement within a construction contract Structural concrete repair and protective coatings Estimating or preconstruction experience NY PE, PMP, or CCM *Who Succeeds Here* The technical qualifications get you the interview. What gets you the job is character. We are looking for someone who tells the owner the truth when the news is bad, who pays subcontractors fairly and on time, who speaks to the flagger and the commissioner the same way, and who leaves every client wanting to work with GLP again. We also want someone who is comfortable wearing more than one hat — who would rather build something with a small, capable team than hold a fixed title at a large one. If you lead by pressure or by keeping people in the dark, this is not the place for you. If you want your work to matter to the company you work for, and to grow with it, it is. *Compensation and Benefits* [Salary range — required in New York postings under Labor Law §194-b] · [Bonus structure] · [Health, dental, vision] · [401(k) and match] · [Vehicle or allowance] · [PTO] · Clear path to senior leadership as the company grows *To Apply* Send a résumé and a one-page project list (role, owner, value, duration) to [email]. Tell us about a project that went wrong and what you did about it — we would rather hear that than a list of ones that went perfectly. Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
