Senior Production Draftsman – Joinery & Fit-Out

We are seeking an experienced Senior Production Draftsman specializing in joinery, furniture production drawings, fabrication details, and cutting lists. The ideal candidate must have strong UAE experience in interior fit-out and joinery manufacturing, with excellent AutoCAD skills and a thorough understanding of production processes.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, factory-ready drawings and cutting lists to ensure efficient manufacturing, material optimization, and smooth coordination between design, site, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery production and fabrication drawings for wardrobes, kitchens, cabinets, doors, wall panels, vanities, furniture, and custom joinery.
• Prepare accurate cutting lists, material lists, and panel breakdowns for factory production.
• Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, assembly details, and installation drawings.
• Specify material dimensions, thicknesses, finishes, edge banding, hardware, and fittings.
• Calculate material quantities and optimize cutting layouts to minimize material wastage.
• Review approved shop drawings, design drawings, specifications, and site measurements before production.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, designers, procurement, and factory production teams.
• Ensure all dimensions, materials, and technical details are accurate before fabrication.
• Incorporate revisions and resolve technical issues related to joinery production.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, cutting lists, and production documents.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Draftsman, Joinery Draftsman, or Fit-Out Draftsman.
• Strong UAE experience in joinery manufacturing and interior fit-out projects.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proven experience preparing joinery production drawings and cutting lists.
• Strong knowledge of MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, and other joinery materials.
• Good understanding of joinery construction methods, hardware, fittings, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, approved shop drawings, BOQs, and site dimensions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
