Strong U.S. Retirement Planning / Retirement Plan Services knowledge, with demonstrated expertise in the 401(k) line of business. Hands-on experience supporting API modernization, microservices, API-led transformation or domain-capability initiatives. Working knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, Agile / Scrum delivery, backlog management and behavior-driven acceptance criteria. Ability to read and discuss REST APIs, JSON payloads, integration flows, error handling, dependencies and technical architecture artifacts. Practical experience with enterprise AI assistants or generative AI for analysis, requirements, documentation, testing or software delivery. Excellent facilitation, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, written communication and executive presentation skills. PREFERRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE .NET / C#, RESTful services, microservices and clean architecture. Event-driven integration, messaging, SQL and stored-procedure-driven business logic. BDD / Gherkin, automated API testing, CI/CD, security, resiliency and observability. Cloud and enterprise platform concepts relevant to modern API delivery. SUCCESS MEASURES Decision-ready backlog with clear, testable acceptance criteria before sprint commitment. Reduced delivery delays, story carryover and rework caused by requirement ambiguity. Validated 401(k) rules mapped to reusable domain capabilities and channel use cases. Measurable AI-enabled improvement in cycle time, quality, traceability or test coverage. Clear stakeholder visibility into priorities, risks, dependencies and outcomes. IDEAL CANDIDATE A retirement-domain product leader who can operate effectively with plan-services SMEs, Schwab Product, architects and engineers, converting complex business and technical ambiguity into clear, prioritized and measurable API outcomes.
