Hitachi Digital Services is hiring a Senior UI/UX & Product Designer (7+ years) to lead design systems and user experiences for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Smart Factory platforms, and industrial HMI workstations in the semiconductor domain. Key Responsibilities - Industrial & HMI Design: Architect intuitive dashboards, operator consoles, alarm management workflows, and real-time production monitoring systems. - Scalable Design Systems: Build and govern enterprise design systems—including design tokens, multi-brand component libraries, WCAG accessibility, and dark/light theming. - Advanced Figma Prototyping: Map intricate manufacturing flows and build high-fidelity interactive prototypes reflecting complex system states. - Design-to-Code Alignment: Collaborate with Architects, Front-end engineers (HTML/CSS), and Desktop developers ( WPF / XAML / WinUI ) to ensure pixel-perfect implementation. - AI-Assisted Workflows: Leverage AI design tools ( Figma AI, Copilot, Prompt Engineering ) to accelerate research, ideation, and documentation. Qualifications - 7+ years in UI/UX or Product Design, with 4+ years dedicated to complex enterprise applications or industrial software. - Proven track record designing for Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, MES, or Semiconductor/Hardware environments. - Deep mastery of Figma and scalable Design System architecture. - Solid technical appreciation for web standards (HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox/Grid) and enterprise desktop frameworks ( XAML / WPF / WinUI ). - Portfolio Required (Mandatory): Must include 3–5 case studies demonstrating complex enterprise/HMI workflows, design token systems, and interactive prototypes.
