Senior / Procurement Engineer

• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, material schedules, and approved submittals to identify joinery procurement requirements, quantities, finishes, and technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain procurement schedules aligned with project programmes, joinery production requirements, installation sequences, and critical material lead times.
• Source, prequalify, and evaluate suppliers and manufacturers for joinery materials, including timber, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, solid surfaces, paints, adhesives, ironmongery, and specialist hardware.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations, prepare commercial comparisons, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and recommend suppliers based on cost, quality, technical compliance, delivery, and reliability.
• Coordinate with design, technical, project, commercial, and joinery production teams to clarify specifications, resolve material discrepancies, and confirm procurement priorities.
• Ensure materials and products comply with approved material submittals, samples, specifications, project standards, and relevant authority or consultant requirements.
• Coordinate the procurement of bespoke and custom-made joinery items, including doors, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, wall panelling, counters, and architectural joinery.
• Follow up on purchase orders, supplier production schedules, material readiness, inspections, dispatch, and delivery to site or joinery workshop.
• Monitor supplier performance, identify potential delays, and implement timely alternatives or mitigation measures in coordination with project stakeholders.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, quotation comparisons, purchase orders, delivery schedules, and material status reports.
• Support cost control by monitoring procurement commitments against budgets, identifying savings opportunities, and avoiding unnecessary wastage or urgent purchasing.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Procurement joinery: 10 years (Preferred)
