Senior PLM Data Migration Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced PLM Data Migration Engineer to support engineering data migration activities within a complex PLM environment. The role focuses on data preparation, mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation, ensuring data accuracy and consistency throughout the migration process. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PLM systems, CAD data, engineering documentation, BOM structures, and product master data.

Location: Denmark (Hybrid – On-site & Remote)

Responsibilities:

• Define, analyze, prepare the PLM migration approach and methodology, including activity sequencing and the execution plan.
• Perform data mapping and transformation between source and target systems, ensuring data consistency and integrity
• Assess engineering data structures, PLM environments, and existing product data.
• Define and oversee data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions for PLM and engineering data migration challenges.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, inconsistencies, and missing information in collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive expertise in PLM environments, including PLM/CAD administration, engineering systems, and engineering data management.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering data models and structures, including complex relationships between products, components, engineering documents, and product hierarchies.
• Strong expertise in PLM and Engineering Data Migration methodologies, covering data assessment, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and migration testing.
• Advanced understanding of multi-level BOM structures and product lifecycle data, including components, subcomponents, alternative/substitute components, interdependencies, and product and engineering master data.
• Proven ability to define migration strategies, establish execution methodologies, manage risks and dependencies, and lead cross-functional technical workstreams independently, working closely with Engineering and Operations stakeholders.
• Experience with ARAS Innovator would be considered a plus.
