# Senior Planning Engineer **Terra Group** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 9 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Senior Planning Engineer: (Project Management Consultancy) The Senior Planning Engineer with PMC Experience will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling project activities from the PMC side. The role involves reviewing Contractor programmes, tracking project progress, identifying delays and risks, analyzing schedule impacts, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with approved timelines and contractual requirements. The position will also provide planning support to the Project Manager and Client through accurate reporting, forecasting, and recovery planning. Key Responsibilities - Review and monitor Contractor baseline, detailed, recovery, and updated programmes. - Monitor project progress against approved schedules and identify delays and critical activities. - Prepare and review weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, dashboards, and progress updates. - Review Contractor's look-ahead programmes and resource/manpower plans. - Analyze delays, schedule impacts, and recovery measures. - Review and provide planning input on EOT and variation claims. - Monitor design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities. - Identify schedule risks and recommend corrective and mitigation measures. - Attend progress and coordination meetings and provide planning recommendations to the Project Manager/Client. - Ensure accurate progress reporting and forecasting of project completion dates. Qualifications & Experience - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. - 10+ years of relevant planning experience , preferably with 5+ years in a Senior Planning Engineer role . - Proven PMC/Consultancy experience is preferred. - UAE/GCC project experience is an advantage. - Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Excel. - Experience in CPM scheduling, progress monitoring, delay analysis, EOT, recovery programmes, and project controls. - Knowledge of FIDIC and construction contract requirements is preferred. Key Competencies - Strong analytical and planning skills. - Excellent communication and reporting skills. - Relevant exposure to at least one of the following: high-rise developments, hospitality projects, mixed-use developments, or consultant-side planning roles. - Strong knowledge of project controls and construction methodology. - Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programme management, and project delivery - Good coordination and stakeholder management skills. - Solid background in project controls, planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination on medium-to-large-scale projects. - Ability to identify and resolve schedule-related issues. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. KPIs - Timely and accurate project progress reporting. - Effective monitoring of Contractor programmes. - Early identification and mitigation of project delays. - Accuracy of project completion forecasts. - Effective management of schedule risks and recovery programmes. - Timely review of EOT and programme-related submissions. Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
