Ensure compliance with international marine standards, ASME codes, and classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register). Prepare and review piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material specifications. Conduct stress analysis, hydraulic calculations, and ensure integrity of piping systems under marine and offshore conditions. Supervise fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities at shipyards and offshore sites. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and leadership to junior engineers. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Piping Engineering. 8+ years’ experience in piping design and engineering for shipbuilding or offshore projects (FPSO preferred). Strong knowledge of ASME codes (e.g., ASME B31.3 for process piping, ASME Section VIII for pressure vessels). Familiarity with marine classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register). Proficiency in piping design software (PDMS, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Caesar II). Hands‑on experience with fabrication, installation, and commissioning of piping systems.
