The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and delivering solutions following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards from conception through deployment. The role involves managing analysis and design efforts, leading deployment activities, and ensuring timely delivery of enhancements and system solutions. The developer will work closely with team leads, internal and external stakeholders, and end users to recommend improvements, provide technical expertise, and maximize customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Systems Development & Technical Delivery Design, develop, and maintain Oracle-based applications according to business requirements. Analyze requirements and prepare detailed technical design specifications. Design, code, test, and maintain systems following established development standards. Perform design reviews and recommend technical improvements. Develop and maintain: Oracle Forms Oracle Reports Database Procedures UNIX Shell Scripts Modify and optimize existing applications and code. Create clear, maintainable code and supporting technical documentation. Analyze and troubleshoot system issues and implement timely resolutions. Assist in system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and bug fixing. Participate in the implementation of new systems and solutions. Implement reusable requirements and development components across projects. Technical Leadership & Collaboration Mentor and coach team members on Oracle EBS technical development and support. Share expertise on Oracle EBS HRMS modules and related technologies. Collaborate closely with Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, QA teams, and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction. Provide technical guidance and assistance to other developers. Adapt quickly to new technologies, tools, and development techniques. Participate in formal and on-the-job training programs. Support & Documentation Prepare system documentation and technical specifications. Create templates, test data, and test scripts. Conduct program and system testing, including validation of results. Support customization, conversion, migration, deployment, and optimization activities. Provide user training, coordination, and production support. Key Deliverables The successful candidate will be expected to deliver: Application design and development Enhancement and maintenance of existing systems Technical analysis and solution recommendations Developer mentoring and coaching System integration and testing support User training and technical support Test data and template creation Program and system documentation Data conversion and migration solutions Performance optimization and tuning Quality assurance and acceptance testing support Relevant Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 6 years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite implementation and support. Extensive experience supporting Oracle EBS: HRMS (HR, Payroll, Benefits) Financials (GL, AP, CM, TR, AR) Minimum 6 years of advanced Oracle PL/SQL development experience . Strong experience creating and optimizing complex SQL and PL/SQL programs. Solid experience with Oracle Workflow. Solid experience with Oracle Reporting Tools including: XML Publisher (BI Publisher) Oracle Reports Builder HTML Reporting Solid experience in: Data Analysis Data Integration Data Conversion/Migration Experience designing and developing custom applications integrated with Oracle EBS. Experience generating and loading interface files from spreadsheets, text files, and other data sources. Familiarity with version control tools such as SVN and CVS. Technical Knowledge Must have strong knowledge of: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices Oracle relational databases and multi-tier application architecture Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) Oracle Technical Reference Manuals Oracle E-Business Suite database schema across multiple application modules Advanced database concepts, including: Database instances Tables and tablespaces Data files Indexes Performance tuning and troubleshooting UNIX operating system concepts, including: Directory structures Shell scripting Basic commands (e.g., vi, sh) Oracle RDBMS tools and technologies Oracle EBS System Administration activities, including: User and responsibility management Menu and function registration Procedure registration Oracle object deployment using FNDLOAD , including: Concurrent Programs Reports Menus Functions Templates Request Groups Responsibilities Soft Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities. Work Arrangement Hybrid Work Setup Employees are required to report onsite three (3) times per week . Additional onsite reporting may be required based on business or user unit needs. Work Schedule 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Manila Time (PHT) Pay: Php700.00 - Php1,000.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pasig
