# Senior Operations Coordinator **One World Rental - Global Event Technology** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About us: “ Commitment to the deployment of cutting edge event technology solutions, anywhere in the work. Guaranteed.”…. One World Group brings together technology, people and global delivery through one connected platform. We support organisations with technology, skilled people, logistics and specialist services across events and other operational environments worldwide. Our teams work across technology hire, logistics, workforce solutions, event registration, printing, procurement, connectivity and other specialist services. We have local teams across multiple regions, supporting clients through onsite and 24/7 delivery. This role sits within our North American Operations team and is responsible for keeping projects moving from initial planning through to delivery, collection and return. It is a hands-on operational role where priorities can change quickly and several projects may be running at the same time. Our Values Commitment – “ We make it happen.” Anytime. Anywhere . We don’t make excuses – we find solutions. When things get complex, we lean in, not out. Collaboration – “ Better together.” One size never fits all . We listen first then build solutions together – with our clients and each other. Responsibility – “We own the outcome.” Own it. Protect it. Improve it. We take responsibility for outcomes, relationships and our impact on the world around us. Value – “More than rental.” We go beyond the kit . Our value isn’t what we just supply – it’s in how we think, advise and deliver. The Role As Senior Operations Coordinator – North America, you will help plan and deliver technology projects across the United States, Canada and, where required, South America. You will lead and support the regional Operations team, coordinating closely with warehouses, technicians, logistics providers, Account Managers, Project Managers and other teams across One World Group. Your job is to make sure orders are properly planned, equipment is ready, shipments arrive when they should, issues are dealt with quickly and projects are properly closed out. You will be involved from the initial planning stage through to delivery, collection and return. This is a hands-on coordination and team leadership role. Some days will be focused on planning and administration; others will involve solving an urgent delivery, equipment or client issue. Priorities can change quickly, particularly around live events, so you will need to stay organised while being comfortable changing direction when needed. Working hours are 5.00pm–2.00am and the role is fully office based . Some flexibility may also be required around weekends and public holidays when operational requirements demand it. What you’ll be doing….. Lead, support and supervise the North American Operations team, allocating daily workloads and making sure priorities and deadlines are clear. Oversee orders and projects from confirmation through to preparation, dispatch, delivery, collection and return. Review project requirements and make sure equipment, accessories, technical requirements, logistics and event information are complete and properly planned. Work closely with Account Managers, technicians, warehouse teams and logistics providers to keep projects on track. Check stock availability and preparation schedules with regional warehouses, making sure equipment is tested, configured, labelled, packed and checked before dispatch. Coordinate domestic and international deliveries and collections, monitoring shipments and dealing with delays, customs issues, failed deliveries and other problems. Make sure shipping labels, commercial invoices, packing lists and customs documentation are accurate and ready when required. Monitor equipment shortages, damage, missing items and delayed returns, and coordinate stock transfers between locations when needed. Keep order notes, dispatch records, collection paperwork, inventory records and incident logs accurate and up to date. Act as a senior operational contact when urgent issues arise, keeping clients and internal teams informed and providing clear next steps. Review recurring problems, identify what went wrong and put practical changes in place to reduce repeat issues. Share useful operational information, lessons learned and improvements with colleagues across other regions and teams. What matters in this role ….. You take ownership and follow things through rather than passing problems on. You stay calm when plans change or an urgent issue needs to be resolved quickly. You are organised and pay attention to the small details that can make the difference between a smooth delivery and a difficult one. You communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, suppliers and logistics providers. You are comfortable managing several projects and priorities at the same time. You are willing to get involved and help the team when something needs doing, regardless of whose job it technically is. Experience we are looking for ….. Experience in operations, logistics, event technology, equipment hire or another environment where deadlines and physical deliveries matter. Experience supervising, coordinating or leading an operational team. Good understanding of domestic and international logistics, including deliveries, collections and shipment tracking. Experience coordinating equipment, stock, warehouse activity or project requirements. Good organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage several projects at once. Confident using Microsoft Office and order, inventory or project-management systems. Experience dealing with urgent operational issues and finding practical solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience in events, AV, technology hire, registration or a similar industry would be useful. Knowledge of customs documentation and temporary international imports would be useful. Experience working across the United States, Canada or South America would be useful. Familiarity with ISO 9001 or ISO 27001 management systems would be an advantage. You’ll probably do well here if you ….. Like solving problems rather than waiting for someone else to fix them. Enjoy practical operational work where you can see the result of what you have organised. Are comfortable when several things are happening at once. Don't mind that plans can change at short notice, particularly around live events. Like working with different teams, suppliers and clients rather than working in isolation. Are comfortable working evening hours and across different time zones. Prefer a hands-on working environment to a highly corporate one. Take pride in keeping things organised and making sure the job is properly finished. Additional Information ….. Working hours: 5.00pm–2.00am. Working location: Fully office based / onsite. The role supports projects across different time zones, so occasional flexibility outside standard working hours may be required. Weekend and public holiday cover may occasionally be required depending on live project requirements. The role involves regular coordination with warehouses, technicians, logistics providers, clients and teams across different regions. Priorities can change quickly around live events, deliveries and other time-critical projects. Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
