This full-time position, based in the Operations department under Configuration & Material Control, Configuration Management unit, is responsible for maintaining comprehensive and precise engine and module configuration records throughout the maintenance process. The role ensures that all unit configurations, serialized parts data, LLP tracking, and accessory checklists are accurately set up in the ERP system, fully compliant with OEM standards and customer requirements. By supporting data integrity, traceability, and regulatory compliance, this position is essential to the success of engine MRO operations. Responsibilities - Manage configuration control and data setup, ensuring accurate and timely entry of engine configurations and related documentation. - Generate and maintain Engine On/Off Logs and Module Parts Tracking Lists (PTLs) to support traceability. - Ensure LLP lists, configuration summaries, and accessory checklists are finalized and accurate prior to engine release. - Validate incoming engine accessory data and create discrepancy reports as necessary to maintain data integrity. - Create and update part numbers in CMRO using Java screens or upload templates, ensuring alignment with QDC/email references. - Maintain documentation standards to meet internal quality requirements and customer expectations. - Respond to document reviews or queries raised by customers or auditors, supporting quality control efforts. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing documentation quality and reducing turnaround times. - Track and update planning milestones related to engine configuration readiness to ensure timely processing. - Develop and maintain proficiency in configuration-related IT tools, particularly CMRO and Excel. Qualifications - Diploma or Associate Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related technical field; a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred. - 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in Aviation MRO, particularly in configuration management or technical records. - Experience with recognized ERP software suites for task planning, job card management, technical publications, and system configuration management. - Familiarity with technical authoring or a technician background is desirable. - Proven experience in technical planning using ERP systems such as Oracle. - Strong understanding of OEM manuals, Service Bulletins (SBs), Airworthiness Directives (ADs), and LLP tracking processes. Skills - Configuration and Part Traceability: Ability to maintain accurate, traceable records of serialized parts, configuration nodes, LLPs, and associated documentation in the ERP system following OEM standards. - Data Accuracy and System Management: Skilled in timely and error-free data entry, with regular auditing to ensure system records align with physical engine conditions and customer expectations. - ERP Tools Proficiency: Expertise in using CMRO and related ERP tools to manage configuration tasks, generate reports, and upload data efficiently. - Regulatory and OEM Compliance: Knowledge of GCAA, EASA, and OEM documentation standards to ensure airworthiness and audit readiness. - Documentation and Reporting: Competent in preparing accurate and professional configuration reports, PTLs, and On/Off Logs for engine redelivery. - Cross-functional Communication: Effective coordination with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to address discrepancies and validate configuration readiness. - Attention to Detail: Meticulous review of inputs to prevent errors, documentation mismatches, or customer rejections. - Process Improvement Orientation: Ability to identify and implement improvements in document turnaround time, reporting quality, and ERP workflows.
