Senior New Business Sales Executive
# Senior New Business Sales Executive **Parallel Partnerships Ltd** · Leeds LS4 2QD · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role £32,000–£37,000 basic + uncapped commission OTE £70,000–£90,000+ Clear route into full-cycle sales, closing and leadership Parallel is a fast-growing outsourced B2B sales agency based in Leeds. We help UK B2B organisations generate more pipeline and new business through outsourced SDRs, appointment setting, outbound campaigns and wider sales support. We are now building a dedicated internal New Business team to accelerate our own growth. We’re hiring 3 people to join at the very start of it . This is aimed at someone who is already strong at B2B outbound, can create genuine opportunities from cold, and wants to move beyond spending their career simply booking meetings for somebody else. The progression is straightforward: Generate → Sit → Close → Lead Join as one of the first 3, prove you can consistently create high-quality opportunities, start running your own meetings within around 3–6 months , move into full-cycle sales and, for the strongest performers, help build and eventually lead the department. We are not hiring three people just to fill seats. We are trying to find three people who could become a major part of Parallel’s commercial team as we scale. The market Our core target market is: - UK B2B organisations - typically 100+ employees - established companies with proper sales and marketing functions You will mainly be speaking with: - Sales Directors - Marketing Directors - Commercial Directors - Heads of Growth - Heads of Business Development - CROs - other senior sales and marketing decision-makers The conversations are around things they already care about: - pipeline - sales growth - outbound performance - lead generation - sales resource - hiring cost - speed to market - revenue We sell a commercial outcome. Businesses want more opportunities and more revenue, but building an internal outbound team can be expensive, slow and difficult. We give them another option. That makes this a very different conversation to selling a low-value transactional product. The numbers Our minimum deal value is typically around £15,000 . Our average deal value is approximately £36,000 . Our typical sales cycle is around 2 months . Initially, your target will be: 20 sat, qualified new business meetings per month. That means proper opportunities. Not weak diary fills. Not people who vaguely agreed to a call. Not prospects who do not understand why they are meeting us. We want good-fit UK B2B companies, relevant senior decision-makers, and a genuine commercial reason for the conversation. The revenue target behind that is around: £40,000 in closed-won business per month. As you progress into full-cycle sales, you will take more ownership of that number yourself. What you’ll actually be doing Initially, your role is heavily focused on outbound new business generation. You will: - build your own prospect pipeline - cold call UK B2B companies - identify and engage relevant senior decision-makers - use LinkedIn and email alongside calling, cold calling is main focus - open conversations around pipeline, growth and outbound performance - understand how prospects currently generate new business - identify genuine pain or opportunity - position Parallel commercially - qualify properly - book strong discovery meetings - manage follow-ups - keep pipeline information accurate - use case studies and lead magnets to create interest - review your own calls and continuously improve - learn how opportunities move from first conversation to signed client Cold calling is a major part of the role. Even as you progress into closing, we still want people who can create their own pipeline. This is not a role for someone who expects leads to be handed to them. Commission You earn commission on every client won from an opportunity you generate. Initial commission rates are: - Starter – 6.5% - Growth – 5.5% - Partnership – 4.5% Commission is paid monthly across the original contractual term signed by the client. That means: - Starter deals pay across the original 2–4 month term - Growth deals pay across the original 6 month term - Partnership deals pay across the original 12 month term As you generate more business, your commission can stack across multiple live contracts. So rather than starting from zero every month, you can build a growing base of commission from clients already won. Progression into full-cycle sales We do not want our strongest people staying in appointment setting forever. Once you prove that you can consistently generate strong opportunities, understand the proposition and hold credible commercial conversations, we want to move you into the rest of the sales cycle. For strong performers, we expect that progression to begin within around 3–6 months . You will start taking ownership of: - discovery calls - deeper qualification - proposals - commercial conversations - negotiation - objection handling - closing Once you are generating and closing your own opportunities, commission increases to: - Starter – 10% - Growth – 7.5% - Partnership – 6.5% The model is simple. The more of the sales process you can own, the more you can earn. The end goal is to develop strong full-cycle salespeople, not career appointment setters. Where this can go This is the part we think makes the role genuinely exciting. We are building the department now. The long-term structure is expected to include: - around 5 appointment setters - around 3 full-cycle Account Executives - sales management - ultimately a Head of New Business The first people into the department will have the best opportunity to grow with it. If you perform, there is a genuine route from: Senior New Business Sales Executive to Full-Cycle Account Executive to Sales Management to Head of New Business One of the people joining this team now could realistically become the future Head of New Business. That is not guaranteed. It has to be earned. But the opportunity exists because we are building the function now, rather than hiring into an already-established structure where all the senior positions are taken. Who we want We are looking for people who are: - hungry - competitive - intelligent - confident on the phone - naturally curious - resilient - ambitious - motivated by money - comfortable being measured - obsessed with improving - capable of thinking on their feet - able to speak credibly with senior decision-makers You do not need to already be a polished full-cycle closer. In fact, we are very interested in strong SDRs, BDRs and appointment setters who feel they have hit a ceiling and want a genuine route into proper sales. What matters is that you can already generate opportunities and communicate at a high level. Strong backgrounds Relevant experience could include: - outsourced sales - appointment setting - lead generation - SDR / BDR roles - sales agencies - marketing agencies - recruitment - SaaS - consulting - professional services - MSP / IT services - other service-based B2B sales environments Experience selling a service, outcome or commercial solution is more relevant to us than simply selling a product. Experience in our space or with a competitor would be particularly attractive. This role is probably not for you if - you dislike cold calling - you mainly rely on inbound - you are primarily an account manager - you need a rigid script for every conversation - you are uncomfortable speaking with senior decision-makers - you expect someone else to build your pipeline - you want progression without proving performance - you are looking for an easy or low-pressure sales job - you are more interested in sounding like a salesperson than actually creating revenue We are looking for people who want to become seriously good at new business. What you’ll have around you You will have access to: - Lusha - Prospeo - our internal CRM - custom-built sales technology built specifically around how we operate - high-quality prospect data - lead magnets - client case studies - proven campaign insight - call coaching - coaching from the founder (ex BD Director turned CEO) - call reviews - support on larger opportunities - exposure to live sales meetings, proposals, negotiation and closing You will have good tools, good data and a proven service to sell. What we expect in return is consistency, intensity and a serious attitude towards improvement. Why join Parallel specifically? - Join as one of the first 3 hires in a new internal sales function - £32,000–£37,000 basic - uncapped commission - OTE of £70,000–£90,000+ - commission that builds across the original terms of clients you generate - higher commission once you progress into closing - clear route from outbound into full-cycle sales - average deal value around £36,000 - typical sales cycle around 2 months - strong commercial proposition - direct exposure to real sales opportunities - strong technology and prospecting tools - clear route into management - genuine opportunity to become Head of New Business as the team grows - office-based team in Leeds - free parking - company events - referral programme How to apply Apply with your CV and answer the application questions properly.
