The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications while ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions. The Senior Developer is also expected to contribute to innovation initiatives, including the use of AI tools and automation technologies to enhance support processes and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Solution Design & Development Collaborate with business analysts, quality assurance testers, scrum masters, product owners, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to deliver minimum viable products and services. Prepare standards-based high-level and detailed technical designs, including: Solution designs Application designs Database designs Integration designs API designs Participate in backlog refinement, solution elaboration, coding, testing, deployment, and product release activities. Develop future-proof, scalable, and optimized solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Production Support & Incident Resolution Resolve incidents and complex technical issues escalated from L1 and L2 support teams. Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and implement permanent solutions. Perform proactive problem prevention activities to improve application stability and performance. Analyze and debug code to identify and resolve software defects. Develop and deploy fixes, scripts, patches, and system updates. Collaborate with technical teams, support groups, and vendors to address critical production issues. Communicate technical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Ensure code deployed through the delivery pipeline meets quality and security standards. Apply behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) practices. Perform code reviews, validation, and automated unit testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. Document troubleshooting procedures, solutions, technical designs, and support processes. Maintain technical knowledge repositories and support knowledge transfer activities. Agile Delivery Participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery activities, including: Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Sprint Retrospectives Backlog Grooming Kanban Replenishment Service Delivery Reviews Occasionally perform the role of Sprint Lead when nominated by the team. Contribute to research, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Support implementation of AI-enabled solutions, chatbots, and automation technologies to improve support operations. Additional Duties Perform other relevant tasks that may be assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Senior Developer role. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the architecture, design, and development of integrated systems. Hands-on experience providing Production Support, including hotfix implementation and Level 3 (L3) support. Experience working in Agile delivery environments such as Scrum or Kanban. Experience working within teams of five or more members. Ability to work effectively within large, information-driven organizations and engage with senior executives from diverse backgrounds. Must be amenable to reporting to HQ as required. Open to shifting schedules: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (PHT) 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (PHT) Must be willing to render extended hours or work during weekends, including on short notice, with corresponding overtime pay where applicable. Pay: Php600.00 - Php1,000.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pasig
