Senior Media Production Specialist

Apex Productions Pte. Ltd.MacPherson

JOB SCOPE:

Produce video and content across APEX’s integrated work: social reels and short-form content, event coverage, digital campaign assets, and brand and corporate films.

Plan, shoot and edit short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts, working to the Content Lead’s content plans and platform strategy.

Deliver event coverage end to end: highlight reels, same-day and next-day edits, live social snippets, interviews and testimonials, and photography when needed.

Produce digital campaign content: ad creatives and their variations, product and service videos, motion-graphic posts, and content for websites and email campaigns.

Act as cinematographer and camera operator on film productions, turning the Film Director’s vision into lighting, lensing, composition and the overall look.

Edit and finish content: editing, colour grading, motion graphics, sound and music, captions and exports for every platform. Submit work for approval to the Content Lead (content) or the Film Director (film).

Use AI tools in the workflow, such as AI-assisted editing, auto-captioning, AI video and image generation, and repurposing long-form content into short clips. Help build APEX’s AI content pipeline.

Plan shoots so one production yields many assets: a hero film, reels, cutdowns, stills and social content from the same footage.

Manage production logistics and the equipment inventory: kit prep, setup for studio and live events, maintenance, and recommendations for new kit.

Guide junior crew, editors and freelancers on set and in post, keeping quality and turnaround consistent.

Run live-streaming and broadcast for enterprise events and webinars: system setup, signal flow and on-the-day operation.

Manage his own schedule across concurrent projects, meet the agreed deadlines, and raise risks to timeline or scope early with the relevant lead.

Contribute to pre-production and pitches: content concepts, formats, shot plans, feasibility and production estimates.

Follow and help improve production SOPs, asset management and content workflows, aligned with APEX’s ISO-certified standards.

Support the Director and teams with technical planning, shot logistics, and feasibility input during pre-production.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree/Diploma in Film, Sound & Video, Media, or equivalent — with 5+ years of hands-on production experience and a strong technical showreel.

Expert-level camera operation and videography across single- and multi-camera setups.

Advanced practical knowledge of lighting and production audio for both shoots and live events.

Strong technical ability to set up, configure, operate, and fix video, audio, and lighting equipment in the field.
