Duties and Responsibilities 1. Study, evaluate and analyze Project Designed criteria for estimate requirements. 2. Prepare basis of design in coordination with the design criteria of client 3. Prepare Project Design Concept related to mechanical work requirements. 4. Come up with the material take-off and its costs estimate. 5. Provide technical assistance to electrical engineers related to mechanical equipment that requires electrical power supply. 6. Develop project technical specifications. 7. Conduct on site inspection to ensure that installations are in accordance with the project requirements and specifications. 8. Coordinate with other trades to clarify mechanical requirements of the project. 9. Coordinate with Utilities and other government authorities to ensure that the design shall be within their standard requirements. 10. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Study, evaluate, and analyze Project Design criteria and cost estimate requirements. 2. Prepare basis of design in accordance with the design criteria of the client. 3. Prepare project design concept related to mechanical work requirements. 4. Come up with the material take-off and its cost estimates. 5. Supervise Mechanical Engineers in the preparation of layouts and estimates. 6. Develop project technical specifications. 7. Conduct on site inspection to ensure that installations are in accordance with the project requirements and specifications. 8. Coordinate with utilities and other government authorities and gather data to ensure that the design concept shall be within their standard requirements. 9. Coordinate with other trades to clarify other requirements in relation to electrical design preparations and estimates. 10. Secure quotations from the suppliers and verify completeness, scope limitations, and correctness of prices offered. 11. Prepare attachments to bid proposals. 12. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time. Minimum requirements: 1. BS – Mechanical Engineering graduate. 2. A minimum of five years of extensive experience in mechanical design of HVAC, fire protection, and other related mechanical works. 3. With Supervisory Skills 4. With an average command of English, both oral and written 5. Knowledgeable in cost estimation. 6. Computer literate. 7. Can handle pressure Minimum requirements: 1. BS – Mechanical Engineering graduate. 2. Must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer 3. With 7 years of extensive experience in mechanical design of HVAC, fire protection, and other related mechanical works. 4. With Supervisory Skills 5. Knowledgeable in the preparation of cost estimate and bid proposals 6. With average command of English both in oral and written 7. Computer literate. 8. Can handle pressure JR. MECHANICAL ENGINEER Basic Function Responsible for providing assistance in the preparation of Project designs and cost estimate. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Conceptualize project design and cost estimates. 2. Assist in the review and in analyzing project requirements. 3. Assist the Sr. Mechanical Engineer in the preparation of submittals. 4. Prepare Material Take-off, costing and encoding Bill of Quantity. 5. Ensure the compliance of project specification and designs. 6. Conduct on-site inspection to ensure that installations are in accordance with the project requirements and specifications. 7. Perform other duties that maybe assigned to from time to time. Qualification MUST BE A LICENSE MECHANICAL ENGINEER. WITH AT LEAST 1 TO 2 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN MECHANICAL DESIGN, ESTIMATION AND RELATED ENINEERING WORKS. APPLICANTS MUST BE WILLING TO WORK IN MAKATI OR BE ASSIGN ON JOBSITE LOCATION, WHEN REQUIRED. COMPUTER LITERATE. HARDWORKING AND A TEAM PLAYER, CAN HANDLE PRESSURE.
