# Senior Mechanical Engineer-MEP **RITS** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP Location: Qatar Experience: 10–12+ Years Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Industry: MEP / Building Services Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP to lead and supervise mechanical MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and installation to testing, commissioning, project closeout, and final handover. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise all mechanical MEP site activities. Manage HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, chilled water, ductwork, and other mechanical systems. Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, technical documents, and as-built drawings. Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, architectural, structural, ELV, and BMS disciplines. Supervise subcontractors, manpower, materials, and site resources. Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower requirements, and site activities. Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and final handover of mechanical systems. Identify and resolve technical issues, site constraints, and MEP coordination/clash issues. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, QCS, applicable international standards, QA/QC, and HSE requirements. Support variation works, additional works, technical queries, and other project requirements. Lead and guide Supervisors, Foremen, and technicians. Review and coordinate project closeout documentation, including testing and commissioning records, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, warranties, and final handover dossiers. Ensure all mechanical documentation is completed and submitted as per project requirements. Key Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in **Mechanical Engineering**. Minimum **10–12+ years of relevant MEP experience**. Strong hands-on experience in **HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems**. Proven experience in mechanical MEP site execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning. Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project documentation. Experience managing subcontractors, manpower, materials, and project resources. Good knowledge of QCS, ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, CIBSE, and other applicable standards. Strong client and consultant coordination and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks will be an advantage. Qatar/GCC project experience is preferred.
