# Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP **Gulf Craft Trading & Services WLL** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP to lead and supervise mechanical MEP activities throughout the project lifecycle, from engineering and site execution through testing, commissioning, project closeout, and final handover . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, chilled water, ductwork, and other mechanical MEP systems , along with proven experience in site management, multidisciplinary coordination, subcontractor supervision, and client/consultant coordination. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise all mechanical MEP site activities from installation through commissioning and handover. Manage and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, chilled water, ductwork, and other mechanical systems . Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, technical documents, and as-built drawings . Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, architectural, structural, ELV, and BMS disciplines . Supervise subcontractors, manpower, materials, equipment, and other site resources. Monitor project progress, work schedules, manpower requirements, and site productivity. Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and final handover of mechanical systems. Identify and resolve technical issues, site constraints, coordination problems, and MEP clashes. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities . Ensure all mechanical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, QCS, applicable international standards, QA/QC, and HSE requirements . Support technical queries, variations, additional works, and other project/commercial requirements. Lead, mentor, and guide Mechanical Supervisors, Foremen, and Technicians . Review and ensure completion of project closeout and handover documentation . Ensure all mechanical systems and documentation are ready for final project handover. Key Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 10–12 years of relevant MEP experience. Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems . Proven experience in mechanical MEP site execution, coordination, testing, and commissioning . Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and technical documentation. Experience managing subcontractors, manpower, materials, and project resources . Good knowledge of applicable standards and codes, including: QCS ASHRAE NFPA SMACNA CIBSE Strong client and consultant coordination skills. Excellent technical problem-solving and site coordination abilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office . Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is an advantage. Experience with project closeout, documentation, and final handover . Qatar/GCC project experience is preferred.
